irishfield Posted February 9, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Thanks everyone!! Moved out of Neuro ICU to the Neuro floor mid day today. She can sit up.. eat.. talk and most importantly right now sleep. Might go home this weekend, but all depends on when the drain is taken out of her head. CT scan this afternoon and she was up out of bed to hit the can on her own, on crutches of course. Had to explain to her nurse last night why that wasn't happening yesterday...with an IV pole still hooked to her. She'd read her chart... but had no idea what an internal hemi-pelvectomy was! House call today... and everything looks GREAT with Jen's healing.
