I've been using Simms G3 Gore-Tex Guide jacket and absolutely love it. Very durable and comfortable. A+++

I've been wearing my Simms Classic Guide jacket (which essentially is the current 'Guide' model) since 2004. Absolutely Love it. I wear it 4 seasons of the year as a rain/wind jacket as well as a general wading jacket to stuff tackle in. The baggier cut allows for extra insulating layers underneath (eg. fleece jacket + hoody). Only recently one of the seams in the hood started to leak (which I patched up with aquaseal).

There's a review of loads of wading jackets in one of the fly fishing magazines this month - I think it's Fly Rod and Reel.

Another vote for Simms G3, lightest most comfortanle jacket I've used. Excellent breathability compared to the cabela's guidewear jacket I was using for wading.

Bare jacket for me. Love the oversized hood on those cold november days on the Saugeen.

I use a cabelas coat. For the price it's unbeatable. I'd recommend a simms, but I personally can't justify the cost.
