bewood lake ice fihing

wanna go to belwood lake or guelph for ice fishing but i wouldn't know where to start and i might not be able to use and auger (unless i make one) are there a lot of people that go there.? anyone who has fished there this year could help?

You won't need an auger, if you take an ice spud along you can just re-open someone else's hole. Hint: look for a hole with some evidence of fish being pulled out of it. Either blood or scales nearby would be a good sign. Try Puslinch lake too.

few ... i thought i needed to make an auger before time runs out for me. you know if i should just use minnows or jigs or both? ?

lots of holes at bellwood you could reopen. i drilled about 40 the other day. there isn't any evedence of fish catching around any of them though.
