Siamese Pike Myth *BUSTED*

Recommended Posts

OK for years me and paul have been telling people.

This is a MyTH DUMB DUMBS! :wallbash:

This is the original Siamese pike that went WORLD WIDE.

siamese-pike.jpg

EVERY site says its a true 2 bodied pike....

Or is it realy.

take 2 pike.

IMG_0727-1.jpg

Shove small pike into larger pikes GILL.

BADABING BADABOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMG_0726.jpg

IMG_0725.jpg

IV CAUGHT A FREAK OF NATURE! :x

Incredible what people will believe!

Now the story behind how these pike were caught! :D

We start the day @ 8 am.

Dead calm water.....

Pike are still on shore and in the salad bars.(in lakes)

cast out the Famous S-B.

Set the hook hard cause the fish were bitting LIGHT.

just sticking there nose in the spinner baits buisness.!

GO EM!

IMG_0707.jpg

IMG_0710.jpg

Release the Gator.

IMG_0712.jpg

Cast once Cast twice.

Hit the shore .

This one is 1.2 inches from shore.

IMG_0706.jpg

just got a action shot of this one he jumped and Gator spin then BYE BYE SIR OLD GATOR! :P

Buzzbait isnt always the lure of choice this time of the year

but in small lakes were the water is hotter.

They will give you the ride of you life.

I cast the B-BAIT. in lilly pads and this one was ready to hit.!

IMG_0723.jpg

IMG_0722.jpg

Black B-B #1 on my list.

Then its my GOOD OL' PALS turn.

FISH ON!

IMG_0715.jpg

a nice rocket! 8)

IMG_0717.jpg

Fished from 8 till 11

then went for some good old poutine!

then from 1 to 2 pm and called it a day.

this is a verry small lake so 5-6 full rounds and most of the fish are spooked or nailed you lure.

kept two 4-5 lbs pike for super! :D

SOOOO the next time someone shows you this pictures and says ITS REAL ITS REAL.

show him this report .

just the proper way to SHUT HIM UP!

sorry to burst your bubble but I'm pretty sure that "myth" was disproved a LONG time ago...actually I would have thought it hard to even find someone (at least any fisherperson) who still (or ever) believed it

the best thing about this myth was that i got it in emails where it was supposedly caught in totally different geographical areas...as if the myth wasn't bad enough on it's own.

It's not really any of my business...but is there some reason why you and your chum appear to be wearing the same shirt?

Secondly, the first photo...the one we all got in our E-mail (while obviously fake) looks a lot more convincing than the one you took. I'm not saying one is genuine and one is not, but the photos you staged look like two pike with their heads touching and not some sort of one-headed/two-bodied mutant. IMO.

nice pike report!

the picture would look better if the pike under the gill plat were turned slightly more to the same profile as the first pike. Either way, thanks for proving it !

Well that explains it!... all the plumbers I've ever known have been notorious Seal Blowers!!! :w00t:

Pm Daplumma or Aplumma, I think I heard one ogf them say they always wear a Lobster Bib when they know they're gonna blow a Seal... maybe they can tell you a cheap place to buy them... I think Aplumma buys them by the gross...

    • Kayak Fishing on Mountsberg Reservoir for Pike (Video)

Thought I'd share a video from a quick trip to Mountsberg Reservoir. Didn't get into any big pike but it is loads of fun to catch huge numbers of smaller ones. Most of the lake is weedy but there is one spot in the center that is a bit deeper than the rest. All the fish came from that ones spot. Enjoy!

    • Eyes and Pike!?

Hey guys,  The GF and I are heading up this weekend to visit her dad for Father’s Day and hoping to get some fishing in. He’s on a lake connected to Glouster Pool on the lower end. Would like to try for walleye and pike in the Gpool but haven’t been able to find any good info. Should we fish Gpool or would we be better off fishing Little Lake? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

    • Spring pike fishing

Spent quite a bit of time on the water last week. Fish didn’t come easy. A couple of skunkings on walleye, a broken trolling motor, many km and plenty of hours on the water. Finally found some active fish. Got them on a variety of baits with the big swimbaits and soft plastic jerkbaits getting most of the fish. They did not want the jerk bait at all for some reason. The new Minn Kota maxxum performed flawlessly. I should have got one long ago. Love the responsiveness of the cable rive

    • WABIGOON PIKE, BASS AND PERCH

Hi all,  Walleye is closed here for a couple more days so took the opportunity to head out on my home Lake Wabigoon to search for pike, bass and perch.  Water is still chilly, with the highest surface temp being 54℉.  Bass and Pike are aggressive at the moment, preferring large swimbaits and spinnerbaits over live baits.  Perch are where they should be but bite is slow. A week or so and the crappie should move in which is a bonus, but there are plenty of in season fish biting
