GeorgeJ Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 I just got back from Canadian Tire and looking through the fishing stuff noticed these lures that look like fish nothing unusual till you read the package and discover they have a blinking light in their belly. Are these new or am I showing my greener side here again?
diggyj Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) Those ones do work. If you know who Boyd Duckett is, he caught his fish on a Laser Lure during this years CLASSIC. They definately work, the real ones are expensive. Here is a link. http://www.basstackledepot.com/laser-lure-...crankbaits.aspx There are tonnes of them available. I have seen at CT and Walmart. uglyfish Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 been around for a while now. has a blinking red light in them to imitate and "blood" trail to trigger strikes. do they really work..?? no clue, if they have a good swimming action, i assume they would catch fish, may be just a gimmick though. who knows. who cares lol
JeffBornFishin Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Bought one last year from Wally world as a laff...got one fish at night on it...thats it.
Marko Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 They might work for salmon fishing off piers at night. Never tried it tho
