Call Names

Twocoda

Recommended Posts

i see on the forum that many people have unique call names or abreviations....other then the self explanitory ones ...i was just wondering on what the meanings behind the names ...for instance ...my call name is Twocoda

Now the breakdown: Two = the number of sons i have

Co = Cody and Colin ( yes i named them purposly for this and they cant fight over whos letters are first)

Da = Dad , Dave or just Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hence : TWOCODA

Twocoda is the name of my Boat and the name of my fishing Team when we are in derbys.....( Should we win anything the individule that catchs the prize fish gets the GLORY but has to give a shout out to the others...

HD.. Highdrifter. Two reasons.

First: There's a technique in fly fishing called high stick nymphing. In a suitable run or pool, the technique is to drift your fly without an indicator, leaving your rod up and out at arm's length. You feel the takes better because there's less slack line (no need to mend) and you're better connected to your fly!! Hence the word, highdrifting. :whistling:

The second is PG 13... I'm a born wanderer, and it's usually the high road I take.. :rolleyes:B)

cheers!
