Welcome to the board muskiesRus. You won't mind if I bug you for advice about gator wrestling will you? Seems we have alot of muskie nuts here. Some seasoned and some wannabe's like myself who'd love to learn. Any info would be greatly appreciated. The more in depth the better.

That's a pretty tall order,Kennyman!

I wouldn't know where to even start.

My best advice would be that if you

are anywhere near a chapter of MCI

consider joining or just go to one of

their meetings and see for yourself

how friendly and helpful these guys

can be.If you have any specific questions

I would be more than glad to be of help

if I can!!!! Check out the MCI website

for a possible chapter near you.

    • New to downrigging - 1 or 2 downriggers?

New to downrigging here. My buddy took me out and loved it! I fish where depths change quickly; 60-130 feet. I was thinking of getting just one electric downrigger and stacking 2 rods or would you guys suggest 2 downriggers and I run to both of them to adjust the depths as they change? This sounds like a lot of work lol. Suggestions?

    • Help Picking a new spinning reel

I have never really owned a high quality reel in my life.  The best one I own is a Shimano Symetre for my ice rod.   I have 2 of those Abu Specialist combos that go on sale a CT for 70% off a few times a year.   One is beat up pretty bad, specially since my 6 year olds have been learning to cast with it the last few years.    All of the being said, I have a birthday in October, and have decided to ask the family for no presents, just cash this year.  A good chunk of that mone

    • New toy, for when I am not fishing *NF*

So a lot has happened in the past 6 years for me and now here I am.  By that I mean a newer relationship and new hobbies too.  Yes I still fish as often as I can (I just don't share my findings now) but my old passion to ride is back.  Today I finally got my own 'bike'. It's a 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 with less than 1600KM on it and it's mint AND has the upgraded Hindel exhaust!  Time to ride to my spots

    • Got a new truck today

I bought a new F150 Lariat last year and absolutely loved the truck but there was a serious issue with the 5 litre engine so Ford installed another engine recently and that one had issues too. I told them I was done with the 5 litre and didn't want the truck back. I wanted to replace the truck and get one with the 3.5 EcoBoost instead and I've never seen a dealership do so much to make a customer happy. There's already a great "Employee Discount" thing going on which knocks a pile of $$$$ o
