Holand River question

Was wondering if anyone had been up to the holland river, is it safe, are the crappie in yet, is it frozen? Dying to break the boat out of garage, but i think it might be a little bit too early. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drove over the bridge in Bradford today. Open water under the bridge, but still ice in areas. Still early for the crappie by maybe a week yet.

I checked the river out 2 hrs ago and she's pretty muddy. Give it a day or two and you might have some luck. Cheers jeff

we were catching the crappie in the south end of cooks bay last weekend so it won't be too long now.

It was wide open in the bridge area yesterday. Where do I drop in the canoe?
