Meely
Anyone have any updates on the ice conditions on Simcoe. Hoping to head out on the weekend. Plans are to sled out by Bonnie Boats and target Whiteys.... Any info would be greatly appreciated. Meely
douG
Plenty o ice, Emilio, in most places, but expect limited to no visibility. Take a GPS, compass, AND a cell phone.
crappieperchhunter
Was at Port Bolster on Tuesday then wandered over to Salvation Army Road for a boo. Glare ice an inch thick with 1-3 inches of water under it, all on top of the other ice. If the water under the surface ice doesn't refreeze before all this snow gets piled on it, I can't see it being any fun for bikes, but I would think sleds would be fine. Dress warm and have fun.
