DanTheMan Posted February 27, 2008 Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 Well, since its been a almost 8 months I havent been around, I though i show you the biggest surprise we caught lat year fishing for walleye We all remember my sturgeon I caught a couple of years ago Well, heres the surprise we caught Another 65 pounds Sturgeon on 8lb test and it took over 2 hrs to land and 1/2 tank of gas Just so you guys now WE ATE THEM BOTH Ok, No we didnt, I NEVER keep any of my sturgeon we catch.Its all catch and release!!! Canuck Posted March 1, 2008 Report Share Posted March 1, 2008 You guys talking about the Blanche and Round near Kirkland Lake? I really miss it up there. My father grew up in Chaput Hughes and I spent most of my summer vacations in that area for about 20 years. Fished all around there. Put thousands of miles on the 12ft aluminum car topper on all of the lakes and rivers. Nice part of the world. Since my grandmother passed a few years ago I haven't been back.
