  1. Hi All, I'm trying to plan a family vacation to Canada and looking for a family friendly fishing lodge/resort. Im coming from Chicago up through MN and the International Falls. I'm an avid fisherman, but bringing the family, grandson and elderly mother. Although we are looking to visit the great scenery of Canada, I'd like to do some fishing. I was working when the All-Canada fishing show was in town, so Any advice on where to look would really be appreciated. Thanks!!
  2. As mentioned in an earlier post Over the past 20 years I have been a part of and in some cases organized a bunch of different trips - mainly fishing (some golfing but that's off topic) Cabin rental in the Kawarthas, Boat in lodge, backcountry camping and I even lucked out and got taken on a deluxe fly in lodge adventure Pretty sure most of my trips are on this site as a trip report to boot. My most recent blog posts lays out some of the pros/cons IMO for the different types of trips I have done www.northernjacks.com Cheers Andrew
  3. I am looking for suggestions on Lodges that are within 12 hours of driving that can be fly-in, drive in or boat in. I will be with a group of 10 people. We are planning on going in Late September or early October. Target species are Walleye and Pike. Any suggestions you have are appreciated!! I tried to search on the forum for topics but didn't get anywhere.
