  1. I think Yellowknife opted out of that Congrats Dave. Heck of a weekends work
  2. Did Trump endorse this Iv stuff? He knows what he is talking about when it come to treating the covid
  3. Ontario should do like NWT You file a written application stating a valid reason to get in to the province and if accepted you quaranteen for 14 days. If you are essential how can you get time away from work...mind blown here too
  4. We still can't go camping though right?
  5. Thats the problem, They would make the 15 hour drive. Close health zone borders. And ottawa is not a hot zone so no vaccines there till the rest of the province is covered...Sorry Justin
  6. Hey, Thats where the part time high school drama teachers assistant says the luxury tax kicks in. And only at 250k for a new boat....something tells me his buddies want new boats sorry to be political but its so funny
  7. What horse power is it You can't get a 2 for that now
  8. the more strokes the better
  9. I need a fish that can eat a 21.65 inch lure Not likely even a Simcoe perch
  10. I actually got lucky enough to see the place in person a year and a half ago. Cleaned lake trout on the dock. The ones we caught out front 🙂 It is way more amazing in person than on here. Unbelievable what he has done and where on his own. What paneling did you get. Can't wait to see it
  11. In your instance Cliff I wouldn't have a problem with it and would do it myself. I was quoted by people agreeing with me about locking health zones then they say you should travel. I really don't know what to say. We need to isolate from others and if we do that nothing should be a problem. I want to go fishing on my own but doubt there is a spot open to launch my boat. I do go to my cabin a few miles out of town with just my dog because it's actually safer than walking it in town. I do think that with all the other stuff in place there should be restrictions on health zones at least because thats the only way I can think to keep people from moving around. We have no vaccines here because they are all being allotted to the hot spots. So, people need to stay in their hot spots rather than spreading this virus. I sit here wishing I could at least get an astra shot when I hear people in hot spots are turning it down Its a very frustrating and depressing situation I can't go visit my only granddaughter for her 2nd birthday. I have seen her all of 2 times so far and she lives in Canada
  12. There is none available here
  13. If only they had some to give out Can't get a shot here no matter what brand or what age
  14. Cliff I see a like. I was being sarcastic because some were agreeing with me and then telling you its ok to travel. I don't believe it's ok. It is allowed but I don't believe it will help at all. We are not allowed interprovincial travel and given the size of Ontario I don't believe we should travel from one zone to another. We are fairly isolated here and 2 weeks ago somebody thought a visit to southern Ontario with the kids was a good idea. When they came back they brought the virus and spread it through our school system
  15. Got it done. It runs and pumps water...never put it in gear though gotta try that. I saw another vid on it and the guy used a ratchet strap to hold the bottom end and pull it up slow. That really helped lining stuff up and getting the speedo hose back on
  16. So it's ok to go to a different health zone. Travel is acceptable.
  17. I just want Ford to lock health zones. The province is too big to be running from one end to the other No travel to another zone. If you live in the north don't go south. If you live in a hot zone, stay there. Don't assume you aren't a carrier. And please have the part time high school drama teacher get us some vaccines.
  18. I'm not sure if it's allowed now. I think if you bring your dog and say you're walking it it might be ok but not sure. I hope so because thats next weeks plan but the police can stop you and ask where you're going. Thats another problem because I don't want to tell them my secret fishing spots...jeez
  19. Its already on a truck. Have him drive to the cabin to unload. I know the ice is still good.
  20. I do like the "will back trailer 4 beer" sign .....wonder how he does at the end of a long day
  21. We have enough government control I would prefer not to be forced to learn how to use a boat launch. You back up, put your boat in and leave. For the most part we have no boat launches here in the North and what there are they are not crowded. If there is an issue maybe a launch specific course where it is needed
  22. just stay in your health zone is my opinion
  23. I watched a couple utubes on changing impellers. Bought the kit today and going to tackle it myself. Other than oil and filter a 2 would be same as 4 except you don't need 2 stroke oil
  24. Glad you got it Bud I can't believe the heights you work at out there. If they drop the 14 day isolation I'll come help with the ceiling this summer
  25. You need a system and a bit of practice I have my boat ready, untie except for winch line but loosen it a bit and relock. Back in till the boat floats, stop and go unclip it, line is ready so pull it back far enough on the dock so somebody else can get a start as I go park. Get in the boat and leave. I know exactly how deep to back my trailer in the water to get the boat back on the bunks and in line. Side guides are a must for easy on. Winch it tight, safety tie and leave. Now my safety chain story. Remember around 7 years ago the OPP lost their boat off the trailer in the intersection in Barrie. The next week I was loading in town here and a couple OPP guys were watching me winch up and asked if I needed a hand...nice of them but I declined and they watched me put the safety chain on after I had the winch tight. One said, oh..thats a good idea...I kinda grinned and it was all I could do to not mention their buddies in Barrie should have thought of it last week Anyway, we don't have many launch crowds here but just be prepared and practiced to get it done
