    Got it!

Nope GWB, he doesn't fish. He is a cranky old retired from Bell guy that is into turning pens right now. Lives in east of the CIBC I think. Oh well, congrats on the permission Signed Dara who lives in an area where there is no need to ask for permission to fish anywhere thankfully.

    Got it!

Being as you're in Brooklin, that makes sense. Hey..do you know Mack the woodworker?
  3. Well, welcome...and I see your nic suits your location as well
  4. The Sylvan has a bit of a rear deck. Its actually the picture you have to click on under the find a dealer tag. The Sylvan is going to end up about 2k cheaper that the Princecraft too
  5. Its kinda whats available here. The Starcrafts are way too much money. The same dealer as the Sylvan has Lund, but really no stock and getting something in would be pricey. I heard Lund had a sweet deal at the spring show of a rebel with a 50 for 12k. Still looking for one of them. I'm topping out my budget here and I think the Sylvan is going to be most affordable. The Sylvan looks smaller to me, but its still covered in shrinkwrap so its hard to tell. The dealer will take my ATV as a trade in for a good price and that saves me the taxes too. The Princecraft guy doesn't want to and way too many people are out of work here for me to get a good price for it. Still gotta go look at a smokercraft Monday from a dealer that is getting out of toys and sticking to construction equipment.
  6. Thats a typical misunderstanding, but we understand....given the truck you drive
  7. I an getting myself a new boat. Just wondering what you guys in the know have to say. One consideration is a Princecraft 16' with a merc 50 4 stroke. http://www.princecraft.com/Content/en-US/p...day-DLX-SC.aspx The other is a Sylvan with either a 50 or 60 Yamaha 4 stroke (this is the less expensive one) http://www.sylvanmarine.com/showroom/ShowM...amp;seriesid=56 Im wondering about hull strength. I think the Sylvan is stronger. The princecraft has more floor space. Just looking for opinions, thoughts, ideas. Whatever I get will be a side console and a 4 stroke,
  8. Nothing but sunshine in the forecast except for a slight chance of rain Saturday and Tuesday next week. Still early yet. Wer'e having a late thaw this year. One good thing is the Goulais ice is out so we don't have to be concerned with flooding this year. I gotta get to the rapids...you guys are giving me the bug
  9. Nice fish. Is that Stokley creek or Haviland? Just taking a wild guess
  10. Beats me about the depth, but I can't wait till breakup to go get the 5 pounders at Big Basswood
  11. I don't know what the limits are right now, they have changed so much in the last little while, and I have never kept a bass
  12. They don't care if it holds up in court. I know a guy that the CO was gunning for. He knew the guy was poaching, taking over his limit, etc. Opening day of pickerell, the guy had been out fishing and the CO comes for a visit. Chats with the guy about fishing and stuff for a while. Looks in the garbage and pulls out the hides. He counted over a limit. The guy says, well, other guys cleaned their fish here. He got charged with taking over the limit. The guy goes to court over it and gets off. But..the CO cost him a days pay to show up in court, and 5 hours drive and gas to fight it. PS I know the CO was right in this case
  13. Umm,,how is spring breakup a "semi-annual" event
  14. I just thought after I posted that...nothing illegal about catch and release after you have a limit is there?
  15. If there are 3 guys in a boat, the limit is 5 each, and you have 14 fish, does anybody actually stop fishing?
  16. This is the sport where you just gotta....Drive fast and turn left?
  17. If the fish are all in one container, you gotta be able to tell which ones are yours. You can't fish off of somebody elses limit. We have teased each other about that for years. When I got my 5, I would put my rod down, put my feet up and say...well, I'm done
  18. Whisky in a jar is about all I like, but I really like it. My son saw them in Detroit this winter. Kiss was here 2 summers ago for an outdoor concert. It was good.
  19. yep, lots of snow, heck, theres that much on my front lawn I may go for another batch of them splake I posted this weekend
  20. Naw..no problem...the woodworking sites are my real problem..I have this one pretty much under control
  21. we have at least that much here too...it ain't ice-out yet
  22. well, we don't do the stuff that gets new laws written, at least not enough of it
  23. are you telling me that the OPP blocks spawning fish access to a creek?
