  1. Hey guys, my stepfather wants to take me on a once-in-a-lifetime fishing adventure and I don't even know where to begin to look. I've seen some amazing fishing trips posted here. Looking for some opinions on where and what time of year. A few of the trips he was looking at were $10,000 per person. Thanks for any help. LTF
  2. My buddy who I was suppose to go with backed out... Still considering going with my dog though
  3. Was thinking about heading to Center Island for pike. Is there any point of wearing hip waiters there? I've only taken the ferry to center island. I see the ferry leaves earlier to Hanlans point and Wards island, any decent places to fish over there? Not looking for anyones personal spots, just asking if its worth exploring. Thanks in advance. LTF
  4. Nice mixed bag of fish. I love the Williams to. Thanks for sharing
  5. Fantastic post!!!
  6. You could also try loading the alternator. With the truck running, turn on your high beams, blower on high with the defrosters on and let it run for a good 10-15mins. Sometimes it takes some load and time for the alternator to start dropping the voltage down. You could always take it to a shop and get an AVR test done and make sure they check for a draw. Shouldn't cost too much and it might be worth it, just because of the headaches you've been going through. LTF
  7. Thanks for the info guys! Starting to get the itch to get out there! Looks pretty cold for the next 14 days, just hope the wind dies down at night at least! http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/caon0669 LTF
  8. Anyone know if the ice has started by Virginia Beach yet? Thanks
  9. I was reading the regs and just wanted to be sure before we drive 2.5hrs, that it is open. It says "Bighead River - St. Vincent Twp. (Grey County)." and that is under the extended fall season in zone 16. I think that means its open near Georgian Bay in Meaford. Normally it gives you 2 streets where its open between or closed between those 2 streets. here's the link http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@letsfish/documents/document/mnr_e001335.pdf Thanks guys!
