Hi all. I have an upcoming trip to Eddie North's Beteau lake camp in August. Checking to see if anyone has been there this summer and how it was? Went 2 years ago and it was very shallow water, so I am wondering what the conditions are. We had great fishing 2 years ago and expect the same this year. Can't wait.

This summer fishing with my two older brothers at Lake St. Clair for small mouths. First time we've ever fished together and we slayed em. Would have been great without all of the fish, but was even better because of them all. #2 is a buddy and I go fishing once a year in Canada, at a different place. Fishing might been up and down, but it is always the best week of year for me. Next week we are going to Lake Beteau and we can't wait.

Great fish. My brother taught me to hold the fish straight out in front of my face with arms extended. The fish looks bigger and I look better. Happy Birthday.

Yep, me and my buds are going up the first weekend. Looking forward to Bassive's post to get me thru the end of July. Don't know if I'll get to post before you go, but will definitely let you know what was working while we were there. I got your PM today and will reach out to your somehow. Solo, I haven't commented on any of this thread since doack's comments, but I have no doubt that you would help me out if I reach out to you. You've done enough with your blogging about Eddie's place. I've re-read your entries many times and it has kept me stoked for my first trip coming up. Thanks for your posts.
