OFNers,
It looks like I might have the day off and was thinking about going out for smallies, I have to stop at the tackle shop and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for what I should use?
All responses appreciated, cheers in advance!

After seeing many posts about monsters, giants and even behemoths, I think internet message boards needs a standard set of words to describ big fish. I know to everbody its different and one guys trophy is anothers dink, but come on,certain words should only be used IF it truly is a behemoth.I don,t mine if in your topic title you write, monster for this lake, but don,t put monster and its only a 48 in. muskie, cause its not even near being a monster.Certain words are being tossed around much too easily these days. My rant for today
I believe this is called raining on someone's parade
Terry, you said it beautifully!

Good on ya Lew!
I love the Larry, but she has been very cruel to me in regards to Muskies. All I have to show for my efforts there is a small 27" near Gananoque.

Fish of a lifetime! Wow...you might've looked a little happier in the picture, think of all the people who'll end up seeing that pic
I was actually fishing by myself and the lovely lady on shore who took the pics did a great job, but she caught me off guard in that one. I chose the one that best showed the fish.
Trust me I'm beaming inside!
Thanks for all the kind words from everyone!

My engine has been on the bottom of the river 5 times and it still runs great! I only sunk it twice but I knew the previous two owners and they sunk it as well. It's a 70 hp 1976 johnson and it has never left me stranded.

P.S. I know how ridiculous I sound but its true and I have become quite good at bringing boats up when flooded and getting the engine running again.
Anybody recognize this guy?
