It was 35 years ago. I still think the message carries meaning today. HH -
I'd have him on a bus, just to get him out of the dressing room! I have no evidence to back up that statement, but if we look back to last year and their record after Willie boy joined the team, one might be thinkin their is a pattern here. HH

My top 5 walleye lures for a northern lake
Headhunter replied to gordy28's topic in General Discussion
Used to use HotnTot on Quinte in the 90's on sunny days, blue and silver. Typically, if I am using a deep diving crank, I am using it to find active fish. I don't want to slow down to run blades, so I rarely use them. I also find that blades can attract too may non targeted fish. HH- 12 replies

Because they don't intend to wait 5 years for an opportunity to raise the fee! HH

Perhaps one spot Brian, but I suspect that no one would want anything to do with it, if you kept it there!😀 HH

It will be interesting to see if the current style of play will work in the spring. Right now, the Leafs are fun to watch. HH

And they have boot cleats for $9.99! HH

A doctor decides to make a career Change!! After 20 years of work, a successful gynecologist had become fed up with malpractice insurance and HMO paperwork, and decided that, even though this is all he knew, he would seek new career for himself. Hoping to try a career where skillful hands would be beneficial, he decided to become a mechanic, as working in a garage is always something he thought he might be good at. He went to the local technical college, signed up for evening classes, attended diligently, and learned all he could. When the time of the practical exam approached, the gynecologist prepared carefully for weeks, and completed the exam with tremendous skill. When the results came back, he was surprised to find that he had obtained a score of 150%. Fearing an error, he called the Instructor, saying, “I don’t want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result, but I wonder if there is an error in the grade?” The instructor said, “During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark. You put the engine back together again perfectly, which is also worth 50% of the mark.” After a pause, the instructor added, “I gave you an extra 50% because you did it all through the muffler, which I’ve never seen done in my entire career.” HH

Heard on the radio this afternoon that Kapi and Willie spent the day yesterday golfing in Vegas.... hopefully, hockey practice didn't get in the way of their game! LOL Nylander has been a poison to this team... do I have any specific evidence, well just the team's record since he came back last December. Watching him play is an effort in frustration, so many bad give-aways and little to no effort make things right. Dubas claimed he didn't sign him to trade him, so maybe Dubas can take him with him, to his next team! HH

Which would still categorize it as a "non fishing" thread. HH

You don't have to open a thread, you choose to...you can't blame others for your choices. HH

Gender:Male Report post Posted 37 minutes ago response to you from the Hockey thread. The veterans are doing much better now with the current government in place. I don't believe that for one second. They are just getting dicked around by another group in power....you also chose to ignore my point about poppies being used for fund raising. HH
-
Talk is that Brian Burke will be taking over Coaches Corner... HH
-
Apples and oranges... the poppy drive helps to fund veterans programs as the are severely underfunded by our government. HH

At .20 cents a litre more than most others nearby.... I stopped there once and got robbed for the fueI bought. HH

My take on Ron's reaction was that he agreed with Don and did not see Don's intention as being racist, just Don using his limited education and vocabulary to get a point across. I think he knows Don better than any of us. If you look for racism, you will find it, but I think Don's intention was to bring to light the fact that too many people don't appreciate the life they have here or the sacrifices made by others to maintain that lifestyle. I also think that SportsNet was already looking for reason to let Don go... much easier to let him go, then let him still the pot. HH

I hope some of the leafs have a good hard look at themselves as they bye to Hutch. They left him out to dry like yesterday's laundry. Already feel sorry for who-ever they get to replace him! HH

I find it hard to believe that the Leafs have a web site, they can't seem to put three W's in a row! HH
