Love the felt colour! We inherited my in-laws and put new red felt on ours following their downsize. No pics handy but it sure doesn't hold a candle to the craftsmanship in the frame that yours has.

In all seriousness I hope they pulled the footage of his many go pro cameras he was likely running at the time to see what he was wearing including PFD
From the tv interview with his sister she mentioned that they are asking for the return of his cameras to help figure out what happened. Too bad if someone stole them.

Oh Geez... I loved his videos and his honest approach to fishing. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Hope he's still downloading pics lol!
I believe this is his report...

I have no problem with it either, and if it makes some extra $$$ to make the site better than that's the least I can do.

it was/is subtly golden!

WOW, that looks great Mark. thanks for the pic! Built like that, 2 or 3 sections wouldn't add much weight at all.

apologies to the OP, not intending to hijack. this is a good discussion thread for us tinners.

id also be concerned about this...I have a 14 foot aluminum Starcraft with a two stroke 15...after installing the TM and casting deck, with a buddy and our gear...thats about all youd want weight wise in the boat. My 15 two stroke really starts losing speed at that point, you throw a few extra pounds in and shes pooched.
Couple pics I had after rebuilding the transom last year. I have the battery up front which helps a lot. loaded with the kids about the best I get is 16-17Mph on gps. I lost about 2mph with the battery, trolling motor, etc so I think I'm at about the limit of weight - unless of course I loose 100 ponds then I could add more to the boat.

Mark, first off, that looks awesome... what did you use for stringers and ply in the floor between the manufacturer bench seating? I am considering putting something in between the seats to make it easier to walk around however, I am a little worried about weigh as I only have 15hp.

Not a big fan of the new parking lot and they took away the small beach at the fountain. Oh, and it still stinks like a shitie hole. Nice aroma when your out there fishing. How many thousand of tax dollars were spent on the improvements to the lake shore and they STILL HAVE THE STINK.
Only during offshore winds... hahaha! The real advantage though, walking with your girl after a romantic dinner you can blame the plant for the 'off-gassing"

I can't speak for the reel but I have the same rod and it's awesome! I am a lefty too, we must stick together!

X2
If you buy one of these you need deep pockets, just to feel you can trust it to get your butt back home; let alone being fun. Been in the trade for a lot of years and 90% of the time that a customer buys an older top end car; it turns into a disaster for them.
I don't know the acronym for these cars' but I bet it's close to a big pleasure BOAT. "Break Out Another Thousand"
Dan.
Bring Money in Wads??? lol I do like the look of the M line, all years...

Just looking for advice from those in the know.
I'm wanting to buy a new pair of insulated rubber boots for all round use...fishing(ice and river), hunting, working outside, whatever. Any particular brand suggestions? LaCrosse? Redhead?
Thanks
I have a pair of Muck's that have been great and I hear Nokians are great as well but they are hard to find.

2 but I prefer the colours in 3, the plants in front with the reds and tree on the left. they are all great pictures!

I have caught small smallmouth, sucker, and panfish in the summer. I have had very little success on spinners etc, usually the preference has been for worms. It's a small lake with not a lot of boat traffic which makes it very relaxing. There are a number of other lakes near by that can be explored as well (I have not done any exploring mind you). Have a great time!

Father, son and I were just east of you a couple hundred yards in the white tin boat. Was going to pop by but we were short on time, my son had hockey practice to get to. Was nice listening to the music!

Yep, rear wiper motor, easy to replace, did mine I think 3 times. Enjoy the van!

Beautiful!

It wasn't a bad vehicle, if the price is right buy it. I'm not sure I would pay more that $3000 though especially if you need to put the better part of a grand into making it road ready. my trade-in was sub $2000 but that's no surprise, we traded it for a 2015 Toyota Sienna at Markham Toyota (FYI they were great to deal with).

We had an 08 montana, pretty much the same vehicle. Lots of power, should pull the boat no problem. I had replaced just about every part in the front end, bearings included at less than 100K. the good thing is that the parts are cheap and easy to install yourself with a small amount of knowledge and youtube. We had about 130K when the tranny started to slip, that was more than I wanted to deal with so traded it in a couple months ago.
$10,000 salmon. I know the angler
