Hey ofners ,
I am in the market to buy a portable rod holder for an aluminum boat. I troll for walleye and pike . Any suggestions on brands I should be looking for . I want to buy one that I won't have to worry about breaking or getting ripped off the boat
Thanks for your help

Dan, a wild Racoon, will tear your boys off, faster than you can say "I just saw them a minute ago"!!!
Vicious, bad temperd fur balls.
I think people should get them they would make a good alternative to guard dogs ...Guard Coons

An easy way to get rid of racoons that have taken up residents under your deck is
take a boom box or any other cd player or radio and put it near the side of the deck or under it , turn it on and leave it for a few days or turn it on at night your choice.
you will piss off your neighbours but your scavenger friends will leave. racoons wont like the constant noise and
they will leave.
Hope this helps

So back to my original question about fish limits
when i am finished my trip in Quebec and i come back onto Ontario soil, with a cooler with 8 fish according to Quebec limit
as long as I have proper up to date license from quebec I should have no problems??????
am i correct
-
Thanks for the replies
i didn't think about the limit changing when you cross the provincial boundaries
Even if I still had an active quebec fishing license for the day i would return home????
What happens if the people i am going with don't have an active ontario fishing license when they enter Ontario they just have the quebec license???

Hey OFNERS
I am doing my annual fishing trip in Northern Quebec and have a question about fish limits
If i purchase a fishing license for 7 days from the province of Quebec i believe the daily limit is 8
At the end of the week the number of fish i can bring home is it 8 or is 8 times the number of days for the license which would be 56
I am not planning on clearing out the lake I believe in preserving the fish life for the love of the sport i just want to make sure if i bring home
fish i am not over my limit

Hey there
I have never lost a drop shot weight
I slide the line through eye of the swivel and pull it up so it gets pinched in the narrow part
It holds the line pretty good , you have to really pull the line to loosen it out.
If you are concerned it wont hold you can always use pliers to squeeze the eye over the line
