  1. Hey there, couldn't get on the site for about a month, clearly the only one with this issue... lol ...

anyways, wanted to make this report, had it made a while ago ....

    http://blog.bulltron.ca

no pics on that .... most of the fish were pretty lame to take photo's of anyways ;)

every time I go back there, the fishing is slightly worse than the time before, and the water was sooo low, even compared to about 5 months ago when i was there last at my cabin, by about a 1 or 2ft I would guess.

  2. Just heading up to the cottage on Lake Nepewassi in a couple hours, I'll be there till Sunday ..

I've only been up there a 3 times so far this year, been wheelin' smaller pike and musky(10" - 24") and defn' some nice bass, alot of those bad boys, still have yet to catch any walleye out of there ...

just curious if anyone has experience with the lake, I'll be taking the new boat, so the fish finder, and the down riggers might help quite a bit on the fish catching front ...

If anyone has any "spots" you wouldn't mind sharing, feel free to shoot me a PM ;) ...

hopefully I'll have a decent report when I get back!! :)

    wish me luck!

  3. I picked up my new phone yesterday. It's not a Iphone though, bought the Acer Liquid outright no contract. I think I will be happy with it. Now comes the task of learning how to use it. My first android.

acer liquid is a good phone.... and there pumping out the new 2.2(froyo) firmware for it soon ...

which is better than most android manufacturers.

  4. yea one of my co-workers was on a call list she got the call went down and got her phone. i called to see if i can come right now and pick one up told them one of our employees was on the call list. She told me the call list is not a first come first serve basis. If we call you we put your name on the phone till you get there. what the hell not very fair IMO

agreed, thats pretty lame .... but, thats rogers!

  5. rogers store in whitby downtown has 3 iphones currently, my friend just text messaged me now ..

im assuming by the time anyone in the area reads this, and gets down there, it will be too late. lol.

but, heads up for you iphone fanboys anyways ;)

  6. Anyway, doesn't matter to me really. He broke the law, got caught and fined. End of story as far as I am concerned.

+1 .. time served. the end.

thanks for posting his reasons though, always nice to see both sides of the story, at least he didn't defend it without admitting his mistake...

  7.

Going to commercial and copyrighted material, I have had issues with the previously mentioned Pirate Bay, not with a virus in the actual downloaded material, but some of the banners, pop ups and ads seem to have issues with them, BEWARE!!!! I would try Demonoid.com first, don't seems to have the same issues there, it is a member site as well but will let you download recent uploads without membership.

Hope this helps you or anyone else interested in music.

the pirate bay does have terrible banner ads ....

demonoid has open registration every friday .. and if you want an invite, i think i have a bunch for them.

  8. Found this to be very interesting:

    Here is the sparknotes version:

As explain by Chomsky, it was reported in a WikiLeaks document that Fallujah, a town in Iraq that has seen tons of fighting, had American medical doctors treat and research illnessess found in citizens of that area. The doctors reported significantly higher levels of cancers than those reported following Hiroshima. Not exactly conclusive evidence that US attacks influenced those cancers, but fascinating none the less. Just shows the importance of an outlet for Public Information like WikiLeaks.

Although I abolsutely HATE Fox News, I respect this guy's opinion of WikiLeaks:

    Judge Andrew Napolitano on Wikileaks.

Although Chomsky has some of the best speeches related to politics i've heard(hence the g-7 welcoming committee signing him on their label), but

keep in mind the rates of cancer world wide have increased since the 1940's ... 10 fold.

WikiLeaks is phenomenal, the governments defn' deserve all their laundry being aired out for the public ...

  9. Although its against the rules to do, I just use torrents ..

to do it legitimately, mp3raid.com ... it hosts all the mp3's that have been put on the internet legally, for free download .. I use that aswell ..

iTunes is pretty good, but, the prices are slightly higher than other sites(apple takes a cut of purchase)

if the band has a myspace page, usually they post 4 or 5 free tunes on there, usually the bigger 'hits' of the band ..

    but mostly just torrents.

  10. I used to work in a tattoo parlour for a couple years, a couple years back ...

If your anywhere near London, I've got a couple buddies who have done my tattoo's (Half Sleeve, full Chest, legs, back, etc ...)

Depending on what it is, If its elaborate design, with crazy colours .. be VERY weary of where and who does the tattoo ...

If you pick price over talent, thats bad news, I've had many a cover up from my younger days(im only 29, but, yeah) ..

those dumb tattoo's were bad decisions, cause i didn't have the coin to pay for an actual professional ...

so, i guess yeah, i know a couple ppl who do them, I have done them before, but I'm terrible, and i have a couple I've done on myself to prove actually how brutal I am at it .. lol. ....

Some advice from someone who is riddled in them, choose wisely, look at portfolios of the artist(note, ARTIST), every artist has a style, choose a artist with a style that best suits the design...

some of my stuff is on this site ...

  11. Hey hey, just came back from a few hours on the Conestoga after work. I've been learning the river and how to river fish and managed to catch my personal largest smallie and ALMOST land one even bigger... it was swimming around my legs and got loose just as i went to grab it. Ah well, I am really happy to find some fun fighting fish so close to me!

    IMG00140-20100806-2009.jpg

nice little dude there ... and yeah, local fishing is quite a bit easier on the gas tank than travel fishing[even in my TDI:(]

  12. Apple is, and always will be, the Nazi's of the computer industry. I build every PC myself, take good care of my HD, and have never had a problem. If you like being told how to you use your technology, or like having serious hardware restrictions, then join the line of pop.culture drones outside of the apple store.

lol, a comparison of apple and national socialism ... almost perfectly suited .... lol...

you forgot the monetary value of those "amazing computers" :)

now apple uses intel for there processors, so there no different, and the only excuse apple people had to justify there purchase was "i work with multimedia" .. well now the creative suite is geared towards nvidia graphics, which apple does not put in there machines, they use ATI ... I guess they shouldnt' have pissed off Adobe so many times, especially with pulling flash support on their phones days before release .. lol...

  13. Ahhh, ok I gotcha.

Yes, the touch screen keyboard takes a little getting used to, but once you master it.. you can fly!

I'm not sure if Swype available for the iPhone yet ... but if it is, far superior to any other way to input to your phone.

    check it out ....

I can txt at about 65 wpm with swype(on screen keyboard-QWERTY)
