  1. Willing to travel a bit further Joe?? I think you can make Temagami in 4.5 hours. I have 26 acres of waterfront you're welcome to use and make all the noise you like, or can also suggest a few islands further down the lake.

    How big is the boat?

Free launch, free parking and free camping. Leaves a lot of money for BEER!

All I can say is wow!! Your generosity is amazing! :clapping:

  2. I am looking to take my wife and dogs island camping within 4 hrs from peterborough for a 4 day weekend in September. I have a tinny with a 15 hp that I will be taking. I have never been island camping before but really want to give it a try. I am an avid angler who loves to target walleye. I am willing to pay for access however free tent camping would be preferred. Anyone have any suggestions for lakes to check out? If you don't want to post pm's are appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. There are walleyed in there, just hard to find. Try weedlines and rocky points. I ice fish there quite a bit and do decently on the eyes. This lake is stocked every other year with walleye. No pickerel in there though! Lots of smallies and some decent musky as well

  4. If I were out in the bush, an iphone would be the last gps I would want to rely on. I would worry about the durability compared to some other designated and designed handhelds.

I have great coverage where I use it and I want to upgrade eventually, but it is still an excellent tool. i want to use it as best I can. Anyone use any apps for hunting?

  5. I am looking for a good gps for my iphone for marking trails, stands and other info. Something I can mark waypoints. tracks, and identify points. Anyone use any good ones? I use the navionics for fishing and it is great, just not too good for terrain. Thanks

  6. I will be heading up to Nippising to fish with these guys and stay in their bungalows on Feb 22. I have never fished nippising before and was wondering what to expect and what to bring for lures, and such? Anyone stayed here in the past? Hows the fishing been this year? Thanks all!!

  7. I am looking to rent an ice bungalow in mid february as my brother is coming home from Calgary to visit. I was thinking of nipissing, but I am not sure on which outfitter. I want a good repuable outfitter with a chance to catch some nice fish. I ice fish all the time, but the people who will be going with me dont ice fish very often. Thanks in advance!!

    Joe

  8. What do you do with deeply hooked out of season fish? Obviously you can cut the line and let the hook work its way out, but what if the fish is already bleeding and obviously wont survive? This hasnt happened to me yet but im sure it will. Musky, or scavenger food?
