  1. i run a chevy 2500 deisel and it will pull anything you hook on to and all day long at 120 kms and heavy duty allison transmission that is bullet proof.4 wheel drive is a must for a avid fisherman as well.i have learned many of times to buy bigger than you need and you will never need more and you always have lots lol.good luck on your searching and stay away from dodge if you know whats good for you in the long haul, they might be cheap now.

  2. there is lots of safe ice around the bay now, being new i would suggest big bay or bellville or hay bay.always check yourself and i know there is alot of people have been out in these locations.i would stay away from every where else if you are new to area.have fun stay safe

  3. well said steve so true, iam totally into promo staff but you couldnt pay me enough to be a pro staff just for those reasons,i need to be on the water every weekend to keep me insane and thats what i do.the worst part is i promote alot of products out there for free and would love the oppertunity to try some new products without haveing to pay a fortune for them.i can tell you that i should own shares in northland products, but iam now starting to feel like i should be on there promo staff lol.

  4. i always make a quick slice of the neck to bleed them out and the fish is dead within a few seconds.the perch i throw on the ice and they freeze in a minute or so.i have seen guys throw pike on the ice and a half hour later they are still flopping around on the ice,so ya people should have respect for the fish they are keeping its good sportsmanship.

  5. there is a bolt that runs through the motor and the mounting bracket that attaches to it,its a big nut and bolt around 3/4 inches or so you cant miss it,but crank it down and i bet this is all it is,it happened to me and i know it also got worse as time went on.good luck

  6. Hey everyone. I have a 16 ft Lund with a 75 hp and all Yamaha controls. My problem is that the steering is loose. The motor turns on its own at idle and flops over when trimmed up. Seems to be getting looser each year. Been over the motor and all the cables but I cannot find anythying that resembles a tensioner or whatever. Anyone have any ideas? I've had this posted elswhere and no one seems to have a solution.
