  1. Read the paper... that's what it's all about... he dropped the blade to plow to the stable.. to get their own plow truck out supposably.
  2. Season is open... give it a whirl as soon as the ice is safe out there.
  3. Ciceri... do you have a hydrographic map of the bay? If so take a look where sucker creek comes out near the N/E point of Tay Point.. out from it is a 60/70 foot hole. That's where I would start in a search for Lakers....they've got a nice deep hole to hide in and bait coming from the creek. I keep saying I'm gonna do it myself..but never seem to get there.
  4. Just trying to make sure you extend that "whole" ! By the looks of your avatar I've been here longer than you've been alive. The bay is full of springs. Fine flying at mach 1... but not something to stop and play on at this point. There aren't any huts down there yet for a reason.
  5. ..and if you think that bay's all "frozen" you'd better keep that sled pegged to the bar !
  6. Daplumma... you wanna tell that story or should I ? lol.....
  7. +53.5 wouldn't have got us to first.. but it would have moved us up. OH well... I used one last year. It's iffy... it's water that has flown thru Ontario ! It's all for fun anyhow and we can do it again next year!
  8. I'm sayin we let him loose in the Delawana Channel Andy heading North and see if he can make it three on the angled cut from the channel towards McCray (sp) Lake. Lost count of how many boats I've seen up on that rock in the last 25 years.
  9. Heading upstream, Adam, I presume...since downstream was 6MPH in Neutral ! LOL
  10. Gee thanks Dan... you've ruined it for me know. Guess I'll go talk to the wife and tell her I now know that Santa's not for real. She'll have to use the other wrapping paper this year for my gift I guess...
  11. Guess you've never seen the MNR/CO dog handler in Temagami then Roy !
  12. Yes Lew... very aware. Wasn't a great way to state it but my point was CO is a silent killer. No fire burning outside the bedroom door... no smoke appearing in the living room... just asleep and dead, like the female officer's family the last week or so.
  13. You was in the Court pages for public mischief Randy??
  14. Was just following Joe and Ryan's lead Ramble.. lol
  15. Congrats Team Extreme ! Sorry to Joey's Man H's for not entering my Muskie... didn't think we'd get away with one from Kbec again this year ! LOL
  16. IMHO... the CO detector is more important than the Smoke detector and they should have been mandated when the smoke detector law was pushed through. You can smell smoke.... you'll never smell CO.
  17. If Biteme could arrange that Ryan... I'm sure more OFC'rs would be there !
  18. Eat a doe or eat a buck .. that's a no brainer for me ! Eating venison on the other hand.. don't think you're going to know the difference
  19. Careful with your backgrounds Dan... I know that spot !
  20. If the snows are smaller... he will be putting more "miles" on his car odometer...than he's really going. Since his speedo will read higher than the speed he's really doing. GBW... do the math I set out above. Remember you are measuring the circumference around the tread.. not the diameter.
  21. Take a sewing tape measure and measure the tire circumference. Divide original tires circumf by the snows to get the correction multiplier. If the new ones are smaller... when the speedo reads say 80KPH divide by the correction number...speed will be slower than the reading because the speedo is reading the output shaft of the transmission RPM... and the smaller tires aren't taking you as far as it thinks it is.
  22. You can hunt at the airport... but only with the airport managers written permission. They might actually appreciate it if if you approach them.... as 400 lbs does a lot of damage when it leaps in front on take off.
  23. Joey ! Good luck Simon putting this together. Always fun.
