  3. just installed new hummingbird fishfinder, had it out on the lake ,depth read 1 ft.big roostertail off the back of the boat.i thought I installed it to the manufactures spec obviously not.is there a optimum height ,called basspro where I bought it they a couple of inches up the transom.any help would be appreciated.mine is just below bottom of boat

  4. I have a 16 foot Lund, boat and motor are about 1500 lbs. I switched from a 55 lb 12v powerdrive to an 80 lb. 24v Terrova last spring, love it! I can almost hold myself stationary in the strong current of the Upper Niagara under the Trainbridge, if you've ever been there you know how fast it moves! And I finally installed an onboard charger, thats a nice feature! If you can stand the expense, you won't regret it!

what did that setup cost you with the charger?I'm sick of fishing just the calm water!!!

  5. It gets old when you've been doing it for almost 7 months.

I grew up in Margaree, you're heading down inbetween snowcrab and blue fin tuna.I usually go down last week of july.Margaree river should be full of atlantic salmon, the bottom of gallants brook is honey hole,.The cape Breton highlands are full of speckles, bring a coleman stove, those cheticampers should know a spot .Lots of awesome hiking ,sunrise trail, top of french mountain if you're into seeing big moose in full velvet.Go early ,thats what i did.If I dont make it down there this year ,have a keiths for me.
