Hey Guys i was asking on Friday on this forum about lakes to go fishing not to far away from Richmond Hill, and ended up going to Balsam lake, thanks to all your other recommendations, i will hopefully try them in the following weeks. Anyways,this is my first report, and my biggest bass i ever caught. So got to Balsam lake at 6 am, water was flat,no waves, so got to try my new trolling motor at it's best performance. After loosing few fishes the first hour, i finally got on the roll here is the result: It weights 4 lb and 21 inch long btw it was all thanks to this little guy: Yum Dinger Worms Next time i will try to get the pictures on the water, as i had no camera with me today.

i usually go to Simcoe every week and launch in Keswick, but i thought of trying something new, so maybe Rice lake or another one i just found is Pigeon lake near Bobcaygeon.

Hey guys first of all this is my first post and i am so glad i found this site. the reports are awesome. I just had a trolling motor installed and really excited to try it this weekend. i want to go bass fishing but don't really know any other lakes other than Simcoe Lake. as a newbie i am not very much familiar with any other lakes could someone please recommend a lake in the 2 hours drive range from Richmond Hill, either Muskoka or Peterborough area for some good bass fishing? Thanks in advance.
