  1. I have used Rockey’s in Orillia as well and would highly recommend them. Also there is an ad on Kijiji from a guy from Bridgenorth that has some parts and says he knows the motors quite well and will do repairs. However I can’t vouch for him. The ad ID is 1620380175. Good luck!

  2. I’m not sure where you’re located but I bought some a few years back at Monaghan Lumber near Peterborough. And I know Peacock Lumber in Oshawa carries it as well although they just had a fire there in the past week or so and don’t know how much damage was done so am not sure if they’re still open. It’s not cheap but if you’re doing it once you might as well do it right in my opinion.

  3. I re did my Lowe FM 165 a few years ago and I got mine through JT'S Top Shop in Midland. They had a good selection and sent me out a couple of different swatches to choose from ahead of time. Then they shipped out the product I chose within 2 days. The carpet I chose wasn't cheap....$23.95 a running yard at 6' width but it turned out excellent. I ended up needing 10 yards to do my Lowe. Looks like it came from factory. I found them excellent to deal with and am very pleased with the quality of their product. I don't believe they have a website but you can call them and ask them for info. 1-705-527-6363.

here is a link to a manual from the Little Chief smoker.

I used to have a Luhr Jensen Little Chief smoker and used the 'easy cure' recipe from this manual for smoking trout and whitefish and i found it to be really good. You can add spices to suit your taste but it is good as is. Oh and i used brown sugar rather than white and used pickling salt. There are a number of other good recipes in there as well. My dad still uses a recipe very similar in his old pizza oven converted to a smoker, using poplar as a fuel and they turn out excellent.

  5. Store in peterborough's north end had 3 on the shelf today. Talked to the duty manager and she said no at first, but finally agreed to make a onetime exception. She told me to bring it through customer service to ring it in at discounted price. When I got it up there, they found the UPC code didn't match so changed their mind and wouldn't give it to me for that price. Needless to say , I wasn't too happy but nothing I could do about it.

  6. Just make sure you keep a copy of the sales tax receipt for your boat. I bought mine about four yrs ago and just got a notice from the Ministry of Finance asking to pay the tax on the purchase price or provide proof that it had been already paid. Luckily I kept a copy.

What a joke...doing someone else's job for them.

  7. I bought the guide wear from cabelas a few years ago because they offered the short inseam in their bibs but found the fine toothed zipper on the jacket kept coming apart. I returned the jacket only and replaced it with the Pro Qualifier from bass pro and have been happy with both pieces since. I did make a suggestion when I returned the jacket to install a coarser tooth zipper to alleviate the problem on the future but am not sure if they did.

  8. We stopped there are on our way out west for a night last June and the hordes of black flies pretty near carried us away. My wife wouldn't even come out of the trailer although she isn't a real bush person anyway. I did talk to a couple of guys who said the fishing was excellent, if you could put up with the flies.

  9. Hey Mike check out ad ID 526425057 on kijiji. He is from Harrowsmith just north of Kingston and I just bought a set of 10 ply BFG's off him for a real decent price. He only sells though...doesn't install. My tires were 285-70-17 for a 2500 Ram diesel 950 taxes in.
