Here a pic of the 29.4 pound King that steelhedrmatt and I caught that snag us a 1000 big ones. Was a bit of tough decision whether to weigh it in the tourney as we both held derby tickets and can't be weighed for both but thought better about maybe watching it slip down the board. If it was 1 pound bigger it would of been even tougher decision.It was caught with a rac spoon 70ft over 140 ft in front of the Pickering nuke station. Fun day in the waves and the sun. Was nice to see the proceeds from his tourney benefiting the ringwood hatchery.

It was a nice try, I think we won more than we thought getting back before the lighting storm started. 8th place is not bad. I know there was the odd 28lb around the boat

We launch out of ashbridges. Smelly launch but good fishing on the drop off. near the Island.

27 pounds. we also had 2 others that were 25 pounds. Hope Tundra and lighting and I can get some like that on Saturday in the tourney were in.

Lot of fish for a buddy and I today. A few decent ones but no derby fish. One nice hog weighing in at 27 pounds.

Went out again out of bronte to hit some kings(again). We were setting up just at the horizion was lighting up when the dipsey rod went off and stealhedrmatt brought in a nice scrappy 17lb. With the sun below the horizon still and us yet to put out our customery 2 rods each the rigger rod fired with a screamer. I struggeld with alll my might to pulll the rod out of the holder(I grabbed it cause I was beside it) and gave it to the S.sheriff just as I did the other dipsey went off again. I ended bring a 19lb hard fought king. But the Siveradosheriffs fish was a tad bigger when she finally was subuded in the net. After weighing it on my crappy scale we knew we would weighing her in. Bite really died off after 7ish so we packed up to weigh it in at Bronte out doors got there and it was still closed. Sheriff had to be in to work so Matt and I went back out for a bit but was slow out there. We packed it at 10 went and weigh her in and she ended up 23.38 hopfully that will hold for the salmon master 500 bucks a day derby. Have caught some good one so far this year but seem to be the wrong days to win. Forgot my camera in the truck but when we went the first time I grabbed it so I can get a pic of the beast.

Whitefish are for the winter when you can't get the kings Al. Nice fish glad you got in to some.

The double header today had both fish with over 500 ft of line out. Couldn't believe they didn't cross the lines out there.

Hit Bronte early this morning with My buddy Barry and got in to some good king action. Spoons off the riggers and wire dipseys were the ticket today. nasty hitch hiker and the lamprey was gross too. LOL

King on the wire...If I had some one with me I would got them to clear the rod and help me net it. Sure wouldn't have been so hectic. Loads of power in that fish.
