I have 50lb PP red spooled on my dipsey rod, After the dispey I use flouro lead so the fish don't see, PP in any colour is visible to the fish.

I like my tunes when I'm fishing. Trolling for salmon I don't know if it make any difference, Over a weed in shallow water probably would.Talk radio might be better, I put a sattelite radio on my boat for those hours the rods don't move.

In the spring any power mulcher mower will bogg down with thick grass. you can mulch but you'll have to cut more often. Lawn-boys only come in 4 stroke now cause of emissions, quiet, better on gas. Canoe you should have ear protection for any motor driven yard tool.

Got skunked as well on friday, Weather looked a little better that when you were out. I'll be out this week and hopfully the water starts to warm up the fishing.

Lawn boy's have the power, It side shoots, mulches, bags. Starts in two pulls. I have had 7 of them in the last 9 years, I use 2 to 3 of them 8 hours a day 5 days a week for 7 months. One lawn boy will last me 2-3 years of Torture. I cut the biggest,longest,thickest grass. Side shot your lawn in the spring or when the motor starts to bog down cause of the thick grass. Mulch as soon as the lawn slows down(usually in mid to late june.) Cut a least every 5-7days in the spring. The less power the mower has you will need cut more often in order for motor to power through it. Keep the blade sharp and balanced and it will help the motor cutting the grass. Hope this help's.

I went to a fishing seminar meeting( not a fishing show)in a fishing club house. There were 40 guys and ZERO women, It was my first time there but a old timer said there was a women there once. The colder the weather the less sexy it is for women.

Catching carp out of air with a net doesn't sound as fun as bringing in a 30lb salmon with a rod. I could get into batting some carp in mid air with a bat though,

I was there once, fished an afternoon caught some small and largemouth bass, I don't think there are any pike in there. (I know pike are usually everwhere).There was rainbow stocking a while back but doubt there are any left. Check out the backroad's mapbook it will tell you what's in that lake for sure.

I have had a 19 ft boat in my driveway all year for about two years, My neighbour and I don't like each other (Unfriendly jerk). Never got a complaint and im in T.O. I hope he never heard of this law..... If you get a complaint you'll probaby know who called on ya, make that dude's life hell from then on in. That's what I would do.
