  1. The water in the river is 38F the best temps for cats is 70F to89F the cats are there but they are not going to travel far to get bait. That being said if you get your bait near the fish they will eat Last year at this time the water in the river was 52 F a big difference we need a week of warm weather or warm rains to get the cat moving.
  2. Tiller all the way.heres my 20' Lund, 90 tiller lots of room to fish. The best thing about a tiller is that you are at the back of the boat, a smooth ride for the driver in rough conditions <a href="http://s713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/?action=view&current=new_boat_002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/new_boat_002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
  3. 8. Congratulations to you and family Pete. I will see you in the spring when the Big cats show up.
  9. I do not tie roe I burn it with a soldering gun.I twist the netting and burn the end.Melts together, very fast.
  10. I switch my F150 over to propane two years a go and don't care about gas prices anymore.I have been paying anywhere From 55 to 65 cents per litre since. I save 30 to 40 dallars per fill up.
  11. My f150 is propane powered and it has to start on gas to warm up the engine before the propane kicks in. I'm paying 60cent per litre compare to gas a $1.12 I think you would have trouble starting it in cold temps.

  16. Made a couple of trips to Erie this weekend.Caught lots of bass in the 4 to 5 lb range and a few 6 lb fish.All fish caught in 7 to 20 fow on Slammers.We were the only boat out where we were fishing. The way the bass were hitting I thing its going to be a early fall,all the bass were fat and spitting out gobys. <a href="http://s713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/?action=view&current=LakeErieAug222010022-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/LakeErieAug222010022-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/?action=view&current=LakeErieAug222010009.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/LakeErieAug222010009.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/?action=view&current=LakeErieAug222010005.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/LakeErieAug222010005.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/?action=view&current=ErieAug2010004.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww137/Anglersway/ErieAug2010004.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
