  1. When i do the trailer i will make sure to take more pics and instructions.
  2. Went out on lake O saturday morning and did not find any bugs being attracted to the lights. They really do brighten stuff up. Makes rigging alot easier then a head lamp. In the rear of the boat I set up lights to charge glow spoons. Works awesome. The lights themselves come from amazon. Under 10 bucks a 15 ft roll any color of the rainbow. Only skills you really need to do the install is a little soldering on the light and wiring up a switch. I have seen the red and green navigation lights on the front, they are sharp looking. Only thing I did not like was how the wires are visible because it is on the outside of the hull. Next project is led in the trailer rails. Gonna be a breeze to launch and load boat in the dark when you can see the trailer in the water.
  3. Had some extra led lights hanging around. Figured it would come in handy on the boat. Saturday rain day project.
  4. Union Social Eatery 6986 Financial Dr #6, Mississauga, ON Just around the corner from your hotel. good food good price
  5. Morning all. Will be heading out Sunday for the first time this spring. Hoping to catch a few yellow bellies. Wondering if I should head to my winter spots. I usually fish around snake island area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not asking for anyones spot just a general direction. Thanks

  7. Just to put my two cents in. One of my biggest pet peeves is people flicking cigarette butts in the water. I always provide my guests on the boat a water bottle half empty to dispose of butts but yet always see them flicking them in the lake.
  8. Do we expect any different from people that don't have to work for a living. Fed with a golden spoon. Only one politician i respect and she will be leaving us. Thanks hazel for the great work.
  9. Thanks for the info guys. I decided on building a tube out of 3" pvc. This way if they do not let me take it as a carry on it can be checked and there should be no damage. I will post some pics once the project is complete. Again thank you for the information. Steve
  10. At the end of august I have a trip planned to nipigon. I will be flying In to thunder bay from toronto. The question is how do you pack your rods and tackle. There will be four spinning rods all 2 piece. Tackles been trimmed down to a couple of plano 3700 trays and some loose plastics in original bags. I figure that I can put the reels in my carry on and the tackle in my checked luggage. As for the rods I would like to put them with my carry on if possible. Figure if I put them in a shipping tubes with some padded ends it should be sufficient. Thanks for the input. Steve
  11. May have issues running braid on the dipseys if the water gets to warm due to fleas. Most of the guys are running either 7 or 19 strand wire.
