  1. I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet outahere. I've had a few OFNCers in my boat. They seemed O.K. in person, but I didn't like their posts so I made them swim back to shore. Wanna go fishing ?
  2. I listen to rock music, sing along and play a mean air guitar. Does that qualify me for an honorable mention.
  3. I'm sure the youngster will make a fine hunter one day. That's a sweet buck. I'm sure it will make quite a few nice meals for the family. My son is seven, but I haven't thought of taking him with me just yet. I usually bow hunt for deer, so a bit tamer than a rifle or shotgun. I believe the minimum legal age to get your hunting license is still 12, but it may have changed recently. Of course, at that age you would need a parents consent and I'm sure an adult hunter as supervision in the field. Mom isn't too keen on the idea. She'd rather see him play tennis or something like that. We're a dying breed. Keep your stepson interested and one day, he'll be taking you hunting.
  4. You buying a boat Jeff ? SWEET !!! I haven't really heard anything negative about them. (Mirrocraft) Seen quite a few of them on the lakes.
  5. Nice to be able to fish the river with these mild temps. Hey, at least you got out there, even though there wasn't any fish landed.
  6. Excellent job on the trout. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your meal.
  7. I was wondering where you disappeared to big guy. Nice to see you're still keeping an eye on us. Have yourself a great vacation and see if you can bring us back some picturs of fish. We kinda like that stuff round here.
  8. Good for you Rick. It's fun and you get yourself moving. I never skated much as a child, but now I take my own kids and get to skate a bit myself. Still not very good, but I get by. Each trip to the arena, I feel more and more comfortable.
  9. Very nice. Lots of work in that quilt. I'd rather have that than a gift that was purchased. You a lucky guy.
  10. Talked to a guy today who has family in Timmins. He said they just got a bit of snow recently, when normally the sledders have been scooting around for a month or more by now. I'd like a blast of -30 Celcius temps for 4 days, then -5 to -10 Celcius for the rest of the winter to maintain the ice. I couldn't care less about the snow. Just bring on the cold.
  11. I'd like to spend more time on the water this year and go on at least one camping trip with my kids. I've been promising them we'll go, but something always comes up to throw a wrench in the plans. Did the tent in the yard thing, but they want to go fishing, wake up and see the boat waiting for you at the waters' edge kind of camping. I can't argue with that.
  12. That sounds like a plan. I'll be in touch. Thanks for the offer.
  13. Congrats on the new vessel. I'll look forward to the stories of fish caught from your kayak.
  14. Terrific news. You da man Rick.
  15. Good to hear Rick. We know you're keeping things running as smoothly as possible. Thanks for all you do.
  16. Good to hear you're still able to get out fishing. Mother nature isn't all bad. I assume we're talking walleye Bob ? O.K. knucklehead me just noticed the pic. Very nice eyes
  17. My neighbours are having the same problem. Sleds ready to go, but no snow. I sold my machine about 4 years ago. We only used it for ice fishing, no trail riding. One of these days I'm going to get an atv. I can use it year round and it will come in handy during hunting season. A sled is still lots of fun ...... if you have snow.
  18. I'm on it, check your messages bud.
  19. Ha Ha!!! I had a good giggle with that one nelly. Thanks.
  20. That a sweet looking trout Photoz. I'm sure it will be even sweeter when your auntie fixes it up with her special recipe. Congrats and enjoy.
  21. For a second I didn't recognize you with your sweater on GCD. Nice to see someone got out fishing today and caught some fish too.
  22. Sounds good Rick. Enjoy your life.
