  1. Looking for a Fishing Partner

Hi, Thanks for checking this out. This is what I am trying to find.

    • Someone who loves to fish…but doesn't have a boat and would love to fish from one.
    • Available to fish Saturday or Sunday on most weekends. (Mostly only 1 of the 2 days)
    • Interested in fishing for more than one species.
    • You will have your own fishing equipment.
    • Age is not really a factor.

    Who am I

    • I love to fish…and generally fish on most weekends. (Saturday or Sunday or both)
    • I start fishing from the boat April 1st and fish until Dec 1st.
    • I have a Lund 1750 Tyee 125hp which is fully equipped for any type of fishing.
    • Married & 53 Years of age.

    What do I fish for

    • Lake Ontario - Salmon, Rainbow's, Lake Trout, Walleye
    • Bay of Quinte – (Walleye, Spring & Fall)
    • Lake Erie – Late Summer Walleye
    • Lake Simcoe – Lake Trout, Whitefish, Pike, Perch, Small Mouth Bass
    • Lake Kipawa (Quebec) – Walleye, Lake Trout
    • Anywhere else that looks interesting for a change up.

    Why am I Looking

    • My wife loves to fish…but not as much as me.
    • I don't really like to fish alone …. I enjoy the company while fishing.
    • Getting ready to go & return and pack up is easier with two people.
    • Many types of fishing are much easier with two people…i.e. trolling.
    • It is nice to have someone to discuss past & future fishing adventures.
    • The intention is not to have someone to split the cost with..However if you feel comfortable in sharing in some fuel cost…Thank You.

If this is something that may interest you, please reply. This could be for more that one person. We could have our own little group - i.e. group of fishing buddies.

  2. I have a Lowrance 522C. I have tilted the transducer back & forth. I still can not get the down rigger cannon balls to read on the screen. They are 12lbs balls down about 30-80ft. Looking for any suggestions. All filters are turned off. Please Help

  3. I made these boards from the plans off the BOQ web site. I took them out to test and at 2mph and 50' of line out...the boards seem to be to dragging and to far back not out to the sides. I was on another boat & his boards went out to the sides very well. Have I assembled them incorrectly...is the pull screw to far back. They have an offset of 4" with a 30 degree bevel on the tips. They are 9" apart..28" long made of red cedar...float very well. Any ideas would be a great help. :thumbsup_anim:

    Thanks
