  1. The other skin that works without double clicking the quote feature doesn't work.
  2. Never!! You don't need it if you hold your rod properly. I've run nothing but 15 and 16 foot rods since the 80's. I can fish 12 hours a day with no arm problems. I hold my rod so that the butt cap either rests on my elbow or against my body and cradle my pin in my palm. This way you don't get torque on your elbow (this is what causes the issue with most people). Unless you are using a heavy spey conversion you will never even notice any tip weight holding it this way.
  3. Or if it's brown and smells like something crawlled in there and died, you are definately in trouble.
  4. Do you have an electronic topo map you can post? It makes it easier to determine where to fish. Not as good as a depth map but better than nothing. This site will allow you to zoom in on the area and save the map for us to see. Canadian Topo Maps
  5. I use Opti2 Full Synthetic oil mixed at the oil manufacturers recomended ratio (around 100:1). This works in all my 2 stroke motors. Synthetics are way better, less smoke, no plug fouling, smoother running, higher reving. The Amsoil Sabre full synthetic is another excellent choice.
  6. This guy hangs in the entrance to my livingroom.
  7. Dude, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Talk to your bank and the Toronto Police Cyber Crimes unit, you've been fleeced. Sorry.
  8. That's cheap compared to the price of them up here. Last month I bought 5 Badd Boyz jigs at the tackle shop in towm and the total with GST (we don't have PST here) was $27. Either you want to catch fish or sit on the side lines!!!!!!! FYI The Blue fox jigs are usually a little less $$$$$$$$
  9. Top speed is somewhere around 1000 rpm or so. It worked out well making it out of a couple of old makita 7.2 volt drills (the ones that you couldn't remove the batteries) Motor in the head stock and just a chuck and bearings in the tail stock.
  10. I'm pretty sure that's who held my policy through Meadowvale Ins. Brokers. I had my boat insured with them since new with full coverage and it was covered for the full purchase price. I paid just over $300/year for my 18 footer w/90 hp + trailer, trolling motor and electronics.
  11. Between the new trolling motor, onboard charger and sonar I'll need nearly $5K !!!!!! Plus I want to repower another $15K!!!!!! Gonna hafta start a meth lab to pay for it all!!!!!!! Think I'll just build a rowing dory in the garage.
  12. I use a jig and drill press to drill out my balsa. Then transfer the blanks to a 1/8" mandrel on my custom (aka. home made lathe) I also use it to turn rod handles and reel seats too. It's variable speed too!!!
  13. I'm looking to replace my old Autopilot 865mx with one of these bad boys!!!!
  14. I used to be insured through Medovale Ins. Brokers. Give them a call.
  15. That thing makes my 53 1/2 incher look tiny!!!! That is a sweet ski and even better it's still swimming!!!!!
  16. Yep, keep yer bible thumpin' in church where it belongs!!!!! Now if you will excuse me I must go summon my Master Satan and tell thim about this!!!!!!!
  17. That's how I train for the spring bug season up here!!!!
  18. Ain't that the truth!!!! Ain't a hut to be rented nowhere around here. It's all do it yourself. Caught a lot of fish out of Floyd's huts though.
  19. I used to go out with Floyd Hale. Floyd Hales Fish Huts
  20. My GAWD MAN!!!! you went outside in -18 temps!!!! I love it when it warms up that high in my neck O the woods. Seriously, I was camping in a tent last weekend at -13. The Proof: I used to love ice fishing in that area, always came home with a good feed of perch. Spent a lot of time in my youth fishing through those holes.
  21. Are you kiddin'? The more you beat that horse the tenderer it gets!!!!
  22. If I waited for it to get above -20 to go out I wouldn't see the lake between November and March!!!! I'm getting out this weekend for the first time because we have had below average temps for the last 8 weeks!!! During that time the average daytime high has been in the -30 range. This Sunday we are supposed to hit +1!!!! Going camping this weekend!!!! There ain't no Nookie like a Chinookie!!!!!!
