  1. We are just in the process of getting a puppy and while searching various breeders we see alot are feeding their dogs and puppies TLC dog food. We will be continuing this when we get the puppy. Here is the link. http://www.tlcnaturalpetfood.com/ It is not in stores, but they ship for free anywhere in Canada and is reasonably priced. I found a few discussions on this food on pet forums and it seems there is nothing bad to say about it. Slight hijack, but any one here have opinions on this food?
  2. West Marine has a store in Oakville or you can order online from their website. I think i paid about $12 for the 8 pounder in the store but their website is now showing a higher price.
  3. This is the style that we use for our canoe and inflatable. We have a 6 and 8 pound which both work great on their own and better together to stop spinning. They come heavier if needed. They fold up into a small carrying case which takes up no room at all in the boat. West Marine anchor
  4. I picked up a West Marine inflatable at the begining of the summer. It is 9ft with a wooden transom and wood slates on the floor for support. It worked great for two people fishing. I had a small 30 lb thrust trolling motor on it and it moved us around. Inflates in 5 minutes with the foot pump and is deflated, rolled up and in the jeep within minutes. The price is a bit steep, but for the convenience it is worth it.
  5. Heading up to a rental cottage on Portage Lake (just outside Haliburton not the one further north). The rental listing states there are musky and bass in the lake. It is a small lake with only small motors allowed. Anyone have any experience on the lake they would like to share? Not locations, just typical fish and size caught.
  6. Does anyone have expeirence with the West Marine RU 260 dinghy? It would be considered mid range for inflatables i think. Not the cheap style from CT, but not a full hard floor (it has wooden slats for support) I am thinking of picking one up and putting an electric motor on it for small water fishing.
