There are other reputable brands less expensive than Dakota, I’ve been using Lynac Lithium (2-60Ah and 1-14ah) out of Thunder Bay for the last five seasons and stoked with their performance. I am using a 65lb brushless motor on my kayak and have covered 20klms on a single battery (not trolling).
