Lew I have to agree with you on the bad show aspect.They have all gone down hill.I wont make it down to the boat show,but did make it to last years Sportsmen show and I must say,my excitement of heading to my first show in 10+ years was short lived.Nothing like it use to be.Maybe were just getting older and expect more .Im sure the kids still think it,s a fantasy day hell I did. Oh the days of the home made corn dogs.

Was down at my brothers on the weekend and went over to Gagnons. They carry that wind breaker.80 dollars.So Im thinking with the exchange and shipping from Carbelas, it,s a good deal. Have not been to that store since the fire. I really like the lay out.You can tell though things are slow out there.Not a busy place at all. They will be carrying some baits that I have been looking for,so Im sure another trip will be in order later in the year.

Just had a chat with fisherman down at the docks.Action is very slow.Water is starting to clear up a bit. Seen 7-9 inchers caught thats all.

It,s been a zoo all week and Im sure it will continue to be until we get ice.
