Holy smokes!! Wow, dude, I caught my first carp with, and thanks, to you! Back when the world, and ofc, were young! Grass was geener, mountains taller and children kinder! Before I even had one of my own. Been many years! Thought of a telescopic rod hadn’t even crossed my mind funnily enough. I’ll pm you some contact info and we will figure things out. Thanks!

No problem. Yes true people were a lot kinder.

    You’re welcome!

  2. I can solve that issue for you once and for all. You can have my “Shimano EXAGE S.T.C. TE comes with a hard case, rod bag, guide guard and the telescopic rod. I haven’t used it for awhile. Been too busy with life. It’s in great condition. Just have to find away to get it to you. ???

Let me know “If you want it.”

  3. I prefer a DSLR. Been shooting with mirrorless cameras and from what I can tell you is that you do lose

sharpness and detail. I compared my photos from a mirrorless camera with my Bros dslr. I find a huge difference in sharpness and details loss from mirrorless cameras. Been shooting birds and I can say you don't get the fine detail in the birds feathers with mirrorless cameras. I also seem to sharpen the photos a bit with software after shooting with a mirrorless camera. Looking at getting a dslr.

  4. Here's just two more shots from my HS25EXR before the big day. A trip to the zoo with my neice's class. After that the fun stuff, the Toronto International Air Show!

Then the usual Holiday events to come. Should be interesting.

Ok thats all for now. At first it was kinda rough trying to figure all the presets out. Once I found out

what they where, I only used aperture settings and shutter settings only. Didn't need all the other

presets for now anyways. One thing tho I was disappointed with the camera body... its plastic!! Should have made it metal.

  7. Great shots. Just one tip.

    The second pic of swan.

The swans a bit whitted out cause its too bright.

Try taking a meter reading of the swan zoomed in(on the brightest spot) then hold the shutter button half way to get the reading. Then zoom back out recompose your shot while still holding down the shutter half way, Then press the shutter all the way. This will increase detail on the swans feathers and darken the water more.
