  1. Sadly i have, lol. I spend most of the summer in Honey Harbour.... Best day I have ever had in the last 5 years was 23 bass for about 40 lbs.
  2. Jacob Wheeler catching 129 lbs (88 bass) in one day is the most incredible display I have ever seen in bass fishing.
  3. Seems way excessive, unless he was a repeat offender. What do they do to the guy that has 10, 20 etc.. He must be a repeat offender or the Judge fishes the same lake. lol!
  4. Wow great fish! Whats the odds it made its way to Georgian Bay... lol. That truly is a fish for a lifetime.
  5. Thats just amazing, I knew there were alot because every year lately my lures just snag them like running into weeds,, but that many WOW!
  6. Nice FishI Looks like you got a great boat as well. Also great that you fish with your family. Spending most of the day in a small boat for a summer really does bring you closer to one another. Here is my best largemouth this season, I caught it in Honey Harbour, in about 2 feet of water off a granite boulder strewn point with a reed transition section. I used a florescent orange 7 inch bass pro shops worm. it was a reaction strike mid day mid july. .
  7. exactly the way she fishes it. We met a salesman for cotton cordell a couple of years ago he told us their number 1 selling lure was the pearl white mid sized big O. he even quoted the skew number. Well we thought it must be their best selling lure for a reason.... The wife will only use it when she is in rocks, reluuctanly uses a worm when i bring her to the weeds. lol
  8. She catches a ton on the big O and she uses a steel leader because she doesnt want to lose her lure to the pike, go figure. I use plastic worms and tubes and mostly catch largemouths. we have caught 359 bass and pike this season. Kept about 10, mostly because they were hooked too badly and wouldn't make it anyway. Just shows how much damage a few anglers could do if they kept most of their catch.
  9. Wife catches the large smallies, I catch the Gobies. Plenty of both in Honey Harbour.
