Been to Red Cedar many times, but never in the late summer. My buddies and I have have a book full of memories from this lake. The bass fishing is good and there are some pigs to be had. There are tonnes of pike in the usual hammer handle size but two of the biggest pike I've ever seen have been out of this lake. Wallies have always been hit or miss for us but thats not to suprizing as we never really fish for them except for at Red Cedar. Saying that though we have had good and bad years. There is also many,many good sized perch if your looking for food fish. Not sure how the worms in them will be at this time of year though. Can't really tell you where to fish as I've never been there this late but good luck and watch out for floating logs if theres a storm!

Sounds like a great offer. After seeing posts from up there I'd love to try a trip like that but I start school on the 7th and after 13 years I don't want to be late.

I've been driving an 07 Ranger for a while now and the only problem I've had with it is you can't bring to many friends with you. It tows my boat no problems and I've been able to launch in some pretty crazy places with out an issue, mind you its a 4x4.

My Daughters three also and had been asking for Bullseye Buckaroo. She got Jesse instead and hasn't put her down since. Jesse replaced Tessie which was her little bear that she sleeps with. She is afaird of the beast from beuaty and the beast. I have read her the book more times then I can remember and when ever we are on a page with the beast she hides her face.

There is a place on Shepperd just west of Allen road called Plastic World. They had the stuff a couple of years ago.

I can't help on the vehicle but the rods can just hang out the back of smaller box trucks. I have a folding tonnue cover and my rods hang out the back and then I wrap them just to be sure they don't get banged up. If you put one of thoughs big caps on the back of a pick up you could still use it to crash in and storage. Not sure what those caps are called the ones that have windows.

How did the guy seem? Offer him a $100. His trucks pretty old and as you stated has some dings and rust already. If nothing else it starts the process, maybe he'll come back with another number. I know you stated that you want to make it right by him but it also shouldn't be like the guy hit the lottery, or the lottery hit him.

My Daughters three now and she loves fishing. I've been taking her out for minnows and sunfish and such since last spring summer. She also loves camping(probably more then I do). She is always asking if we're going camping. She has also done quit well at catching snakes and frogs and now has a pet turtle. The only thing she doesn't seem to like is worms. She does all this with me but is still the girlie girl when she's hanging out with mommy.

I've never even travelled to the south end. We normally fish the Opeechee area or in the River that Runs down beside the resort. Not sure if the river will be that easy to fish in this year with the water being low. Anywho have a fun and do some relaxing after that docks in.

Gerry, we are staying at the ever so luxerious Pozniaks. I think its our 10th year in a row in the Martin River area. First two at Beaverland. Will you be doing any fishn over the weekend?

I'm heading to Red Cedar tommorow also for the annual trip. It's a month late for me and the buddies due to whatever. I'm a black Ranger towing a Sea Nymph.

If the guy on the atv got away without injury was it an attack or did a guy on a atv just see a bear?

the mall parking garage is under cunstruction not as many spots availible. not a bad idea though.
