  1. As Woodsman stated Cozy Camp will not do you wrong. Brian and Diane are great host, clean camp and accomodation. I have been going since 1994 with nothing but good things to say. The cottage on the point is my favorite as well but I have never been able to get into in the summer. Good Luck
  2. I'm with Misfish, I work in the coatings industry and I can tell you that 235 F for 4 or 5 hours in that unit will allow more then just flavour to permeate into your food.
  3. Bob we went out of Colchester on Tuesday and did very well once we located fish. We had to be in tight 12 - 15 ft of water once we moved out past 20 ft we could not locate them. Visibility was low due to heavy winds on prior days. Most fish taken half way over towards Holiday Beach. Water temp was 54 degs. Waiting for the winds to lighten back up to get back out. We found no colors that were out producing others, pretty consistent across the board, lots of large class fish brought to the boat 26 - 29" that were released. Nice at this time of year not to be picking up all those shephead! We did pick up 3 or 4 smallies that sure make a mess when your running tight board paths.
  4. Thanks for the update Bob. Thursday is looking to be a decent day with a little less wind (10 S) so I'm hoping to get out there for the 1st time this year. One of the advantages to working afternoon shift I guess. Just looked at you sonar, 45 degs its timeeeeeeee !
  5. Fish Miester, What are your needs? Short shaft or long? I have sent you a PM.
  6. Dave, Great effort putting this together! For the last hour I have been lost in a fantastic place living a great summer through your eyes. Memories and storys of a lifetime for you. Thanks
  7. TJ, Better hope they don't air it during Lunkerville or Charlie Moore or you be wasting your time Good job looking forward to seeing them.
  8. Great Job Bernie, It is great to see pictures from the past, I wish my father - inlaw was still with us as he would be very interested in the hockey pics as he played in Powassan back in the 50's. As a matter of fact we have an old jersey (sweater material actually) that he past on to his grandson before he passed on, we still have some family up that way.
  9. Funny thing about this is that Kingsville was the 1st runner-up in the CBC Kraft Hockeyville contest this past spring. They have been talking about making a run to win the grand prize this year. I don't think this will help help their case. Brandon, are you back in Windsor now?
  10. I should have figured, good cover John.do you think she will fall for it??
  11. Great thread, looking forward to the responses. I'm hoping some camp operators will give us their opinions. I did not know that US citizens could no longer collect the gst rebate at the border, when did that stop?
  12. John, You just put things into perspective again. Thanks Kris
  13. That is a classic
  14. Hey Benny, Glad to see everything worked out ok for ya. Was wondering when you would get back with it. Good looking setup that I'm sure will bring years of enjoyment.
  15. I know a guy who did the same thing while importing a GTO from New York to Ontario about three months ago. He had a receipt, bill of sale for $10,000 when he actually paid $19,000. The part that I thought was funny was that it was an e-bay transaction. They looked it up while be was being questioned and knew exactly what he paid. At that time he came clean to face the music. His truck and the car and trailer were impounded. He then agreeded to pay the fines, I believe it was $4000 along with the duty that he tried to evade. He was a 1st time offender. Not a bright move and he is the 1st one to admit it, all for the sake of saving a few bucks. One other note, the guy who sold it to him was a lawyer and it was his idea to write him the cheaper receipt.
  16. Benny, just need the signed ownerships for both boat and trailer along with separate receipts for both. You transfer them to your name back in Ontario. I have done it 2 times now. You will have no problems.
  17. Top Ten things NOT to do in late November,,,, You guys just scored #1
