  1. Sounds like a good time. If you were going last week I might have taken you up on it. I just did a solo kayak/camp trip a couple weeks ago on crown land.
  2. This is an great topic, unfortunately most are unwilling to share info. I'm doing a similar drip the end of this month aswell. I have a back road map but it doesn't show crown land. There is an online atlas that will show crown land (i don't have the link on my phone) so I have been cross referencing that with the back road map I have and Google maps. I've located a spot on the Pickerel River I plan to camp/fish/kayak. Finding a place to safely park is going to be tricky since I've never been there. I plan to just go for it and hope for the best!
  3. What yak do you paddle? What rigging have you added? Show them off here! I paddle a Feelfree Lure 11.5. I have two Uni track mounts with Scotty rod holders, two Scotty round flush deck mounts that I can mount a camera on or just use for additional rod holder locations and a Humminbird Helix 5 SI depth finder. Great yak! Excellent platform that is comfortable to spend all day on. If I get tired of sitting and need to stretch my legs I can just stand and keep casting!
  4. If you've ever been interested in how soft plastic baits or jigs are made check out these two videos I made on the subject. Word of warning... lure making can be very addicting LOL! Also materials can get dangerously hot and scalded hands should be a concern. The necessary precautions should be taken even if I don't!
