I have found two submerged rocks on Woods Bay/Blackstone- the hard way! Trolling speed only though so no damage. Heading up in the morning and will be very careful with the new boat.
You mean in Massasauga? Shoals and rocks everywhere.
Hopefully Stormy is less eventful.

Did you end up going dutch? I'm going in the next 2 weeks for sure

Cheers bow slayer. Always helpful.

How is the park and it's lakes (Restoule/Stormy/Clear) for boating?
Recently did Massasauga and it is littered with hidden rocks and shoals, so I treaded very lightly.
Anyone have any experience navigating those waters? How's the channel from stormy to clear? I'm told it's very narrow but unsure of depth / rocks.
Cheers

Diesel has been roughly the same at 109 all year..... so can't complain with cost. I love my 15 eco diesel big horn. Paid 50k out the door well equipped.
Mileage is also incredible at about 7-8l hwy and <10 l combined average.

How has the fishing been the last couple years?

Ivanhoe seems a bit far (10hrs).... I'll keep it in mind for a different trip though.

Also, I am coming up from Hamilton so would prefer <5 hour drive.

Am looking to find a spot to camp / fish where I can bring my boat (40hp). I would be tenting it but would like to bring my 15ft aluminum for fishing as well.
So far the front runner is Massassauga Provincial Park. Any suggestions?
Pretty wide open on species. I prefer Walleye or bass personally.
Thanks
