like I said before. Open forum, I have my opinions and that's that.

and just for the record, one of my friends wasn't very smart, left two young daughters and a young wife all in the pursuit of chasing fish, same as guys with buck fever who miss. Stop and think first. God rest his soul but he was an idiot for making that decision.

I had another friend who lost his life here that was a board member a few years ago in Hamilton in a Kayak, great guy, who the hell goes out in fridgid waters in a Kayak. Your asking for trouble. Miss him dearly and was just going through stuff that he gave me to fish with, but he was an idiot for chosing to do what he did.

I never said I was heartless. I grew up with commercial fishermen, we check the weather. I broke through cause some asshat moved his hut and left the hole open, still my fault as I was to eager to get out there and never kept an eye on the ice,so correct, I wasn't to smart, weather channel and news are everywhere. Most guys go through by themselves.

I have had three close friends drown the same way. One has been missing since 1998 and they have never found his body. I myself broke through before, my own dam fault. I got careless, almost drowned. I should have known better. There are accidents, but to go out on the ice right now racing around on a sled with the temps being the way they have been is foolish. like I said in the post, sad but stupid all the same. His family has to endure a loss of life right now cause someone could not bother to take the proper precautions. Every year, same crap over and over again.

sorry but this usually is gods way of weeding out the stupid people. when will people learn, same as the guys who buy a fast bike with no elmet in the us. Stupid,stupid,stupid, sad shame.

I'm using windows 10 and I'm copying and pasting the link to here in the text. I can type no problem but it wont copy and paste for some reason.

it works with every other site except for here for some reason. I can type but when I go to paste the img link. It wont type anything. Not sure why.

We still have no power on our street. Probally by Sunday or Monday maybe. I have a generator hardwired and have been running everything off the generator. Ive been cutting neighbours trees for days but bad situation for most. Been cooking stuff for my neighbours and it has brought all people closer. Everyone is helping everyone. Radioworld sells the mounting board. Get one, great investment. As for the units.bi bought the elite 7 this past fall. Best darn unit ive used so far. Better than all my lowrance units. Even better then the touch. Ive got it up front right now as a dedicated DS unit.

Im no teacher by any means but where the hell has our school system gone. I have raised both my kids in an outdoor enviroment.

My daughter hunts, fishes and helps me on ocasions with my home building business. She is olny five and we have taught her to read and write but also teaching her real life. this is how i was raised.

I grew up with real life rules, you screwed up in school you got called out. You got to know failure and if bad enough you were kept behind. You sucked it up and became a better person for it.

Today they teach kids that failure is acceptable. What a freekin joke. Heres our dilema. My Daughter tends to do alot of stuff on her own as the other kids are so far behind her its unreal. They are teaching her basic shapes and colors. She allready knows all this stuff, christ she knows which colors to mix to make other colors.

We are wondering if we should ask the board to let her skip a grade or two. I had to do it and i seem to have turned out fine. Who ever said that parenting was easy. Lol
