  1. Outstanding!!!! Great example that fishing is not only about the equipment.
  2. That looks awesome! Nice father and son time!
  3. Have a Napoleon Prestige 450RB that is over 15 years old and still works great. Sure I've replaced some parts over the years but it is still better than most of the crap out there. I thought the Prestige line was all Canadian where as the Mirage line was off-shore.
  4. Great story with a happy ending. Without a bit of luck it would have been a tragedy. Kudos to all parties involved.
  5. Sorry to hear that you missed out but as others have said the both sellers and buyers can and have been screwed by no shows.
  6. Been smoking pork and beef for about 3 years now. I use a Weber kettle grill with a indirect heat set up I came up with after a little experimenting.
  7. Wow! Biggest perch I've ever seen. They are huge. Nice catch.
  8. It looked very well fabricated. Please post pics when you complete the new and improved version.
  9. It is too bad they pulled the plug here in Canada. I think they did poorly here because of consumer expectations based on the US stores. We were looking for top quality products at bargain basement prices and that just did not happen here. If you or someone you know is affected by the closing of Target, I wish you the best.
  10. Went for the first time last year and had a great time! Discovered how nice the people are in Orillia. Kept going back to fish even after the festival was over. Can't wait to go back there!
  11. OMG! A little girl just out fished me for lakers and whities this season! Anyways good for her. It was a nice catch.
  12. Just glad the boat went back to its rightful owner.
  13. Nice catch! So far I've been skunked but good to see the kids doing well.
  14. Great store to deal with. Very knowledgeable staff. Large inventory and the best prices.
  15. What a great way to have some Father and Son bonding!
  16. Some days are just slow. Can't really blame the outfitters. And I can't say enough good things about Dave. See him and his boys whenever I go to Gilford to fish.
  17. Regardless of the other stuff looks like you had a successful day fishing. Nice whities.
  18. Yesterday while fishing in my hut I heard the sound of a vehicle spinning its wheels. It was obviously stuck in the snow. My buddy turns to me and says "I hope that is just a car". I pop my head out and see it is a full sized 4x4 pick up truck. Luckily another 4x4 truck was there to help pull him out. We were in an all-wheel drive truck and stayed in the existing tracks and got through okay.
  19. My buddy and I have an Elite-4 and a M68C and when we fish in the same hut we seem to have interference issues. The hut is 6 x12 feet and we are at opposite ends. Tried playing around with noise rejection and other settings but does not help much. Any tips would be much appreciated.
  20. Don't they break up the ice for the ferries to travel between the Islands and the lake shore all winter?
  21. There are some real Dirt Bags out there. I hope you get your stuff back. We all share a love for the sport of ice fishing and I find it hard to believe someone would do that to someone else.
