my condolences to you and your family. Even though I only know you all from this thread Jen has been amazing inspiration and will continue to be so. You must be so proud of her! I will be making a donation in her honour and encourage everyone to do the same. She gave so much strength to so many it's the least we can do.

Don't see anything wrong with people criticizing a sports event (not even olympics) that will cost 2.5billion of our tax dollars (if it was private funding my views would change) when homeless levels last june were at a record high. Think they are more important areas we can be spending public money and it is my right to question that instead of blindly supporting this event.

Hey all, I'm going up to a cottage near Wiarton this weekend (Little Pike Bay, Lake Huron). Was wondering if anyone knew how the fishing was in the area and what species can be found. Have to admit Im not too familiar with the area but would love to wet a line this weekend. Any advice is appreciated!

I hope to land my first musky this year..and walleye. For some reason I have no problem landing bass, panfish or pike but those 2 species elude me

sports fishing is not the problem guys its just a drop in the (white)bucket compared to things like environment, invasive species, climate and illegal poaching. Closing the legal sports fishery would not do anything positive.

Exactly! Not sure why there is always someone who has to hate on successful people. Pretty easy to do it from your couch while these people are out there doing something.
