  1. If anything they should encourage fishing there. Great place where the environment can be controlled and stocked. Perfect way to get kids hooked on the sport and in turn help keep fisheries and the environment healthy for future generations.
  2. Hope all goes well Wayne. I actually just had surgery last week at St Mikes for a borken cheekbone. my Plastic Surgeon was excellent. They do good work.
  3. Thanks EHG. Used to always look forward to your winter fishing reports. Like watching a fishing adventure show lol
  4. 6ft 149? We gotta get some more shor lunches in ya! lol! jk, nice fish
  5. Taking your shoes off in the house is just good hygiene
  6. Of course I'm interested! Yours and moosebunks reports are my favorites on here..Like reading a magazine lol
  7. Thanks for bumping this! What an awesome trip! Always been my dream to do a fly-in
  8. Umm..that's like saying if your boss hires you he's not allowed to complain or tell you what you're doing is wrong..As a voter and taxpayer Im allowed to have input into how my country is run thank-you very much.
  9. I'm sure Ron cry's nightly and wipes his tears with 100 dollar bills lol
  10. I may not agree with a lot of what Don says..But I love him! He's one of the last left who speaks his mind and has passion for what he believes in and doesn't care about being politically correct. Also I find him entertaining and in the end watching sports is about being entertained. Also love the work he does to recognize the troops and emergency workers
  11. Don was commenting on Ron's interview earlier in the evening where Burke said that its tough to play against teams at home because the visitors have so many local players that want to do well in front of fans and family.
  12. Glad to see that you find drinking and boating a laughing matter
  13. Judging by your constant posts of drinking on a boat..Probably a good idea to bring in testing down there!
  14. Call me simple but I enjoy walking around, catching some of the seminars and just looking at fishing stuff and boats. Fun way to spend an afternoon and costs about the same as going to a movie.
  15. Minnow and Float is a great Pike tactic but I have found that at Harbourfront its best to cover a lot of water as the density in the pike population isn't as great as other places. Also one of the reasons the pike are leader shy. Sure you don't have as much pressure but you have much less fish so it balances out.
  16. I would listen to Highdrifter. Pike and Bass at Harbour and Islands are unbelievably picky.
  17. Yes! There will usually be a few locals on shore who will take you out for the day for some fun near shore fishing..I would suggest them because they know where the fish are at and also they are always a lot of fun with some great stories and conversation!
  18. Countdowns are your friend for winter habourfront pike
  19. I don't know freezing my butt off outdoors in january to barely be able to see the ice doesn't sound like a fun day to me..Congrats to the NHL marketing dept for successfully putting makeup on a pig! lol
  20. Still don't know who can drink 24oz's of coffee..especially before it gets cold and nasty
  21. You don't have to respect the person in power but you should at least respect the office of the country that allows you the freedom to make money and raise your family. He had no problem playing for the US Olympic team. I Guess Tim Thomas didn't realize that it was his job to pump the presidents tires
  22. Whether or not you agree with them. It's great that we live in a country where they are allowed to voice their opinions (G20 meeting was an anomaly hopefully). For the record I don't disagree with a lot of their issues.
  23. Can be any worse then some of the conditions that the other meat we eat lives in. Ever see some of those factory farmed chicken coops?
  24. agreed
