Big-O
By Cotton Cordell
Awesome CrankBait right there....
Amen!! Best crankbait of all-time in my humble opinion.

Wasn't on for us. We spent about 4 hours (9am - 1pm) on Chemong throwing various bucktails and large spinnerbaits and never sniffed a musky. A few OOS largies (and piddly ones at that) was all we could muster.
No luck eh, that's too bad. I talked to my buddy yesterday and he said he landed quite a few Ski's around the Lancaster & Fife's bay area of Lower Chemong. Apparently bucktails were the weapon of choice for the day, and a few fish were also caught on a black and yellow Harvo jointed..

My opening day is tomorrow...haven't decided on the lake yet...
You should check out Lake Chemong if you're in the area. I heard the bite was on today.

I'll be shore fishin lower Chemong this weekend. Hopefully the slabs are biting..

Looks like a Frenchman's Bay Pike to me.

I got one question for you Cronzy jr. Why the hell would you keep a bass that size for the dinner table? Was there no other food around?..I dont get it. Please explain.
There's nothing wrong with keeping a few fish to eat, but is it really necessary to keep a fish of that size. I dont know call me crazy but I think a bass that big belongs swimming around in Lake Seymore, not in someones belly.

Check out the Seguin River. The Pickeral fishing is usually pretty solid.

It's a Yellow Shafted Flicker..

Nice fish you got there Terry. Good stuff
-
Gotta love those highway 28 bass. Great pics.

NOT allowed, dead or alive.
There's nothing wrong with using gobies for bait.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

Stoty, your best bet is just head down to the end of Liverpool and take a right. The channel that feeds into the bay is probably the best all around spot in the area. Start chucking some spinnerbaits & cranks, you should have some sucess. Lots of pike around there, and also tons of sheepies. The bass fishing can be hit or miss. Just depends on the particualr day. Best way to figure out whats biting is get out there and wet a line.
Good luck.

JohnnyB is right on.

Nice gator. Good job

That first fish is a bruiser. Just by the look of it I'd say it was easily over 20lbs, but I guess not.
Maybe that scale is busted
-
I was out the other day and got a few. All small ones though, in the 4-6lb range.
The carp are always biting at the bay, you just have to get out there and wet a line.

is 16 mile creek close to 14 mile creek?
Yea it's only 2 miles away...
Good call on Duffins Creek. You can always find plenty of suckers there, even today.
Another place I would check out is Lynde Creek. It's always been a good spot for suckers as long as I can remember. Pringle Creek also.
Just get yourself some nightcrawlers and you're in business.

No I'm not talking about the ballet. I'm talking about the lake just off 16th Ave. between Markham Rd, and 9th line. I'm wondering if anyone has fished this body of water before, or have any idea on what species of fish reside in this lake.
Planning on doing some fishing there this summer with the kids. Just not sure on what fish to target.
I'm sure someone from this site has tried their luck there before.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Nice Drum!!
I caught a few myself last summer around the same size. One thing I can say is they always put up a good fight. Real scrappy fish.
Congrats on all the hookups you got there. Great pics.
