  1. Try float fishing it......guys that fish it everyday says it doesn't work tho haha
  2. 2 friend while packing up their truck in the Niagara Glen parking lot forgot their rods and reels behind. One thought the other put them away. Lesson learned the hard way. Any info if you found please PM myself. RPX 13'6, Gold Islander, Quantum rod, Blue Islander Thanks
  3. 11 gram is all you need. 8lb leaders. Vary your depths obv and unless its mid winter and fishing lower is only time I slip float. Pool is normally betwen 4ft and 11 ft running. Fish it prob 5 days a week and actually when we got are house which is 2 min away I think the wife knew I wasnt gonna be around alot lol.
  4. In the Niagara when things slow down we switch to tubes for lakers and pick up Steel here and there......use to be a group from Brantford I met years back that used small one inch to 2 inch tubes under there floats and did well.
  5. Went to Fleming back in 92. Did'nt put all into tho. I was 18 and expected what I seen on TV!!. No girls or very few!!! Women have been my down fall all my life!!!!! LOL!!!!
  6. Looked like a good day anyways. Live on the river so PM me if you need advice on the lakers. They seem to hold in certain areas and if your a few feet off its a tough go.
  7. Call Denis at Fishin Niagara....the guy lives fishing and his store is rite on the water...meaning up to date conditions. Peter's is a good option to but I perfer to get my things from a guy that is always on the water and he can produce for you.
  8. One out of the Niagara and one out of Port D.....got a pic of the one out of the Niagara and hopefully can find it. Was a few years back.
  9. When I learned long ago there were very few float fishermen around to get help from.....so the best way is time on the water. Amazing how fast you will learn out there. I hit my first fish while getting a line twist out. I looked up and my float was gone so as I reeled in and tighten up the fish took off and my knuckels with it. Best way to learn!
  10. Thanks!! Looked it up and I have what I need. Again thanks!!
  11. A quick question for anyone who can help me out...while moving I misplaced my boat registration. Where do I get a new one? A friend told me to go to the DMV? Some trying to save a head ache!!! Thanks in advance.
  12. Every few years I come across a chinny spawning in the spring! Very odd but it does happen. The majority of them I have seen have been on Huron tribs.
