  1. Thanks for the input! will definitely check it out. tight lines!
  2. I keep on getting told about all of the walleye in the grand but the only thing I ever see getting caught there is bass sunfish and the odd trout haha
  3. what depths does mountsberg get to? and shades mill is supposedly good but no one I know has gotten anything worthwhile there lol, trying to search for somewhere with walleye
  4. Hey all I have a Coleman scanoe, trolling motor on with fish finder and just received a downrigger and I'd like to use it but I don't know of any lakes near Hamilton where I could utilize it, I'm not looking for your honey holes but if you could point me to some decent lakes within an hour or so I'd appreciate it!
  5. mountsberg is a frenzy for pike I catch and release probably 7-10 in a given morning of a few hours all in the 16" range usually and that's just shore casting I haven't gotten my canoe out there yet but if shore casting a good spot is along the rocks at the train tracks
  6. Look into a DC furnace, it costs more up front but the savings down the road are amazing, over 10 years the savings per month add up and it's paid for itself in those savings I'm a sheet metal apprentice so if you have any questions PM me and I can talk to one of the refrigeration guys I work with and get back to you.
  7. Hey everyone, looking for some feedback (if any) on the Sebile Flatt Shad, I've never really heard of the company nor can I find out too much other than their own promo stuff, and a few writeups here and there. I ask because my sister picked one up for me and it being the shad style I figure what the hell, but it's a sinking lure with no spoon which is odd and the ring placement is on the top of the head instead of at the front. If anyone has had any experience with these (good or bad) and a good way to utilize them let me know! watching their videos they say its good for rip jigging, trolling or just casting, so I'm going to try out any way I can, also they wrote if you snip the front treble it helps it a lot through the weeds if casting into them. I'd like to target walleye with them so hopefully it helps! as the CC shad has been a staple in my tackle for them for some time now. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Sebile-Flatt-Shad/704712.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3FN%3D0%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dsebile%2Bfishing%2Blures%26WT.srch%3D1%26WT.tsrc%3DPPC%26WT.mc_id%3Dgoogle|fis_Hard%2BBaits_general|USA%26WT.z_mc_id1%3DsIFCRzqrR%26rid%3D20%26pcrid%3D12987128898%26gclid%3DCLiW6sKC6bcCFSJqMgodn2UA8A&Ntt=sebile+fishing+lures&WTz_l=PPC Thanks for any input! 8. That was chicagos game in regulation had that goal not been disallowed, I think the integrity of the reffing this season is dwindling with quotes like this "He said his intention was to blow the whistle" So without blowing the whistle the play can be called dead? just like the game 7 disallowed goal on Chicago again against the Red Wings. Luckily Seabrook saved them.
  9. Scugog for muskie, I was there the long weekend, out near the red buoy I heard there was walleye (very weedy only about 8-12 feet of water) and I ended up pulling in 2 muskie 40" and 52" too bad it was before they were open! regardless it was a fun day.
  10. I'm going here too in July hoping to get some nice fishing in, Im gonna be looking for some walleye hopefully, anyone have any ideas on them?
