  2. Thermacell!! Camera and trak map for your gps.
  3. I have had some great luck out of Bluffers...no monsters yet, but a solid list of 17-22lbs. Heading back this week to see if I too can find that illusive 30lb King. Lucky Linda
  4. I am looking for a nice lodge with good fishing. I have been twice to Chaudiere loved the place just have had no luck with the fishing. Even guided so it's not just me lol Any suggestions for the second week of July? Thanks in advance Linda
  5. I bought a crucial for my trip to Nipigon. Fished with it for 15 min. Went to put the hook in the holder the tip snapped off. I bought it at Sail. They replace it no problem but are 4.5 hours away! For $60 or so I can mail it in. So I called Shimano. When you press #1 for English it disconnects me. So, after 3 try's i press #2 for French. That hangs up too. Lol. Called Sail again...they offered to make arrangements to return to Shimano for me or they said I could just wait till I was through Oshawa again and get my money back as they don't have another one. They have the Shimano rods on clearance. So I am not too impressed with Shimano at this time, however thrilled with the customer service at Sail. It 's my first lifetime warranty rod and my first rod to break like that. I did really like it for the few moments I had it. Linda
  6. Just want to thank everyone again. I am soooo happy with the Terrova! And in my lake very happy with the 60" shaft. If the waves are any size...i need the length. Can't believe the power and battery life! The remote is for me! I can stay seated...anywhere on the boat. I have been known to nearly toss myself overboard with the foot controls on the one I used before. It's just lack of experience and being underpowered I am sure but this Terrova is amazing. Love it!!
  7. I should not be looking at this post lol
  8. Depression...serious illness. Very very sad to have the whole world see you as such a star and not be able to beat depression. Such a brilliant actor and comedian. My favourite was Mrs.Doubtfire but remember watching Mork and Mindy and loved his stand up on golf. May he rest in peace.
  9. How cute is he!!! Was just looking at his foot on the trolling motor...that generation is so good with electronics!! It's amazing! Nice fish too!
  10. I bought Frog Togg bibs! Just before we went to Nipigon. Love them!!! Dry comfy not too hot! Washed them when I got home as they were full of fish slime etc and hung to dry. Wash well! I chose to buy the Gander Mountain jacket (guide series) and it was excellent.

  12. That is cute! And the music is an African band...the Congos I think!
  13. I better get out there and see if mine does that lol
  14. Ha! Bill you don't know me very well. Nothing stops me from the fishing part lol. Manuals beside my bed ? I will never figure it all out, but just the spot lock was worth the $. Linda
  15. I just want to thank everyone for all the help! We have the new boat, did a 'boating' day as I wanted to get to the current where Lake Huron and the St. Clair River meet (it wasn't fun to take the 25HP in that current and try to fish) and just drive the boat. I did have a chance to try the Terrova a bit....I am so impressed! It's amazing!! I tried the "anchor lock" yesterday and it was like a dream come true. So much power, very happy with the 60" shaft in the waves and its all adjustable so good word on that advice. I like the button where I can press for North..for when I feel a little turned around. I haven't even pulled the foot pedal part out yet...just had a blast with the remote. It had me going over 3 miles an hour in current! I felt like I had a friend on the bow of the boat...amazing! Thanks again! linda
